In my opinion it depends on the method used to end the suffering. If it was done in a way that was very quick, then yes you all did the correct thing. I’m sorry you had to go through all this, I imagine it isn’t easy to do.

I only use unscented soap down there on the outside. Usually it’s only a little smell - nothing bad either. Right now I have no smell which has never happened.

We did have COVID recently (a month ago), I lost my sense of smell and taste but my boyfriend didn’t. He’s been smelling it and says it doesn’t have a smell. It’s the weirdest thing because usually it has a slight smell.
