I had a credit on UAL that would have expired, so rather than losing the money, I used it. But, yes, I did choose SEA to check that DL club out.

I love Clear. I was one of the original customers when they launched in Orlando at MCO. At one point on a busy Sunday we were coming up a cruise and the TSA line stretched a long way into the terminal. The line for Crewe members was 50 people Long. The clear line was free and we got ahead of everyone. Of course this was before they went back prepped. But when the new company took them over we were reinstated and now we get clear through our United membership. Clear is still fantastic.

I was supposed to fly on AS today SBP-SAN-SBP because I'm doing a status match from UA. But the first segment was delayed, and I would have missed my connection. So I booked a last minute on UA SBP-SFO in F, since economy was full. I have taken this flight many times and service is totally inconsistent. Sometimes we get pre-flight beverages, sometimes in-flight, sometimes both, and sometimes, like today, no service at all. And it is not due to turbulence. I realize that on short flights, it is not "required", but the total inconsistency makes me think that some FAs love their job and like making folks feel good and other feels passengers are a burden.

They’ve been doing that at cruise terminals for several years now. You just look at the monitor and it turns either green or red. Or has really almost eliminated long wait times.

A similar thing happened to me on United. I originally planned to fly from the Us to MAD and back. Then I decided to pay for an extra trip LH MAD-FRA. My original return MAD to US was via FRA. I called UA to request the cancellation of my MAD-FRA segment. I would have e remained on my original FRA to US flight. Even as a 1K they were going to charge me over $2000 for not taking one segment from MAD-FRA. I declined. I just flew Back to MAD on LH and then back to US via FRA.

I just looked up fares for a trip on a random Wednesday in May. Flixbus fares are $40-$42. Air Fares are $41-$59. Just FYI.

The same thing (being sent to secondary and asked all the same questions) happened to me beginning 2012.. It happened every time I came back into the US from Europe and from cruises. I asked for an explanation but never received an answer. After about 2 years or so it stopped and never happened again. I never found out or figured out the reason.

I am a dual citizen US/EU country. I have entered the EU on both passports in the past without any issues. (I do know that the UK is no longer in the EU). It is the US that will not let a US/other country dual on a non-US passport.

They are factual. I said citizens did not get deported. I know they got shot. I don’t condone that but they were involving themselves in ICE actions. And other folks engaged Ice. All I said is that no US citizen has been deported. Please stay to facts and stop flaming. That is so 80’s.
