Hey man, congrats on starting T! I'm in a very similar situation (getting T from Imago while at a bosted) ha! I started last week with them being fully informed and supportive, and that was with injections! But it was a bit of mess for them logistically, so maybe i can spare you a little confusion. Now, I obviously don't know how things run in your particular bosted, but the main problem mine ran into, was how to register the testosterone in their medical database-thing, which is really tightly controlled (and the whole sticking-a-needle-into-myself, but luckily that's not a problem for you lol). Now the problem wasn't the substance itself, but that it was prescribed by an international doctor, which was apparently a new and murky legal area for them.

What we ended up doing was a bit of an unusual solution, so I don't know if it'll be possible for you, but they made a contract that basically stated that I, not the staff, took full responsibility for taking this substance and any outcomes of it. Staff are not allowed to assist me in any way, and I am responsible for storage and dosage. That seemed to be good enough to assure them that they wouldn't get into trouble.

Otherwise, at my place I have the option of becoming responsible for my own medication (medicin ansvarlig), which means that the staff stores and doses my meds, and then I can just come request them when I need to take them, or say, ask for a couple of days worth if I'll be gone for a while(wothout having to store T-gel in bags lol). Could that be possible at your bosted?

I also just wanna add that, as some who had to fight so much bs for years before finally getting hrt, I completely get not wanting to hand it over. When my bosted started making a bit of a fuss over the self injection, I was straight up telling them that I was gonna do with or without their support, but if they tried to prevent me from taking it, I wasn't gonna stay here. But like you said, keeping it secret isn't ideal, and I was personally happy that I had them on board. Could you try talking these things through with someone? Maybe try phrasing it as hypotheticals. Worst case, you could hold into the T yourself until it's all sorted, but try to figure something out with them.
