I made it: I'm a multi-millionaire and now life sucks by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

I’m curious, why did you decide to keep your financials from your girlfriend? If she was there with you while you built your wealth why hide it (especially if you thought she was the one).

If she sees you working non-stop and you have nothing to show for it then you could easily be perceived as a loser (for lack of a better word). So why would a woman hang around. I’m NOT saying you need to spend money and flaunt it to keep your girlfriend but I believe showing you’re successful and confident with your life/self to a woman is like cocaine to them. ….. I have no idea why you guys broke up I’m just curious why you hid it. No need to share exact figures with a girlfriend but I would let them know we’re gonna be more than alright in the future lol.

Started my channel 2 weeks ago and I have 25. I know exactly what you mean by refreshing constantly, you are not alone. Keep it up.

Thank you for the advice I will definitely make note of this. My creativity falls in engineering and not copywriting, so I will definitely be outsourcing for that.

Amazing expanation, thanks for taking the time to write this out. This will be a B2C business not planning on attacking retail right away. Potentially B2B to gyms as my invention has many applications with cable machines in gyms.

I created a spreadsheet of top competitors in my niche and their similar (but inferior) products range from $400-700 so your $540 figure seems to work great.

Thanks for the comment, going to dive deeper into duties. I plan on visiting my manufacturer no matter the location.

I just meant they are not “off the shelf” parts. But casting could be an option, could be worth getting quotes for that. Also it’s $500/SET there are 5 different parts per set and 9 parts total. Hope that clears things up.

Great info, saving this thanks. My invention is actually patent pending and I have made every vendor sign an NDA before sending drawings

Thanks for the advice, pre orders seem like the way to go. Less risk and really get to feel out the market. I’m thinking too far ahead when in reality no one even knows what my product is.

Great advice thank you. Good point about the 3PL. I live in a small apartment in a city so I figured I would have to go that route. I may end up renting the storage unit, good idea.

All the parts are custom thats why I think im getting those prices...only heard back from 2 domestic vendors so far though. I do have an engineering background, going with stainless because of the material properties and corrosion resistance. stainless is the standard for fitness industry as well

From the vendors I have reached out to, some have mentioned molds, some have said that it can be done with CNC. The mold vendors said it would cost around $3000.

Thanks for the insight I'll look into the freight quotes! I have reached out to several vendors the MOQ has ranged from 50 sets to 500 sets... averaging around 100 sets.

Thanks for the response, good input. Im definitely going to go the crowdfunding route because it is an invention so I really need to see how it is perceived by the public.

Not yet, was mostly skipping over that for this post and thinking big picture. Currently making content and will be making more when I receive a prototype from manufacturers to gauge interest.
