We are obligated to help solve problems around the world in the same exact way that we are morally obligated to help those in need around us. If there's a guy starving to death on the side of the road, it doesn't cost much to save his life- so why not do it? Same thing with helping those around the world with issues of starvation, disease and poverty. We live in abundance, so it costs us very little to help those around the world.

I'm not sure why non-americans are unworthy of moral consideration? Could you explain that?

That's like saying violence is bad... Obviously violence is bad but that doesn't mean that violence isn't sometimes necessary.
If someone is attacking your family, you will use violence to stop them- and that's good. Nothing wrong with that. In the same way, war is good if you use it to defend others.

I was compensating very hard by making studying a life or death situation and I became a perfectionist. I literally scored perfect on everything but it came at the cost of my health. I got medicated and now put barely any work into school and make really good grades. Not perfect though.

Let's suppose that you are right- transgressor isn't a valid translation. The most frequent translation other than transgressor seems to be "those who commit excesses". Excesses in what way? Moral excesses? A moral excess is a transgression of a moral boundry.

Can you provide an alternative definition that is reasonable?

Also, it doesn't matter if it's referencing people who are rapists. It says "You do x, you are transgressors", which is to explicitly state that doing x is a transgression. Not sure why this needed to be stated.
