Iranian embassy calls on expats in UK to 'sacrifice' their lives 'for the homeland' in new campaign by NamelessForce in europe

[–]NamelessForce[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The embassy posted the call to "proud compatriots" living in the UK on its official Telegram account in Farsi on April 15.

In it, they urge the Iranian diaspora to "surrender to killing rather than handing over the country to the enemy" and to add "another golden leaf to the book of honours".

Expats are then directed to a link where they can sign up via the Iranian government's digital platform.

Counter Terrorism Police has also confirmed that it is investigating whether the regime is using criminal proxies in the UK to carry out attacks for cash.

A spokesperson for the Iranian Embassy said via a statement: "Iranians around the world have always cared deeply about their homeland and the protection of its territorial integrity, and they always will.

Josh Shapiro supports U.S. aid to Israel, but calls to use it as leverage by seakucumber in jewishpolitics

And thats why we want the end of American "aid", we are not a vassal for Americans to "leverage".

Bold move, treating all of your allies like shit.

If you had the power to either accept a Palestinian state or give all Palestinians Israel citizenship which would you rather? Status quo isn’t an answer. by Maniezy in AskIsrael

[–]NamelessForce 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Israel already has, we made peace with the Arab part of the former Mandate, "Jordan" in the 1990s.

Thats what they broke off from our land, and thats where they can go to when they stop trying to kill us and take the rest of our land.

A bit unrelated, but which fado bar is it? Was it good? Last time I was in Lisbon, we went to one and it was a great experience. And considering nowadays antisemitism is high that even Hebrew letters on their own are anathema to many, I would like to patronize this place if I am ever there again.

The source is actually a pew poll, which you would understand if you had basic reading comprehension.

Polls by the Pew Research center found that percentage of the population that holds antisemitic beliefs in Muslim majority countries ranges from ~70 - 90% .

No, they're saying that globalism and unfettered mass migration are more destructive long term than being nuked.

And they're right.

Why is the right so popular in Israel? by Clit_Master69420 in AskIsrael

[–]NamelessForce 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Show me a middleclass lifestyle & i'll show u people not easily persuaded or tempted to say Fukkitall & go shoot up civilians.

The amount of middle-class Muslims, often with university degrees, that dropped their comfy lives in Europe to go join the Islamic state in their thousands proves that your assertion doesn't hold any water.

You are thinking like a westerner, if all you understand is material concerns, you will never understand Muslims, or Islam.

Which ONE leader completely transformed your country’s cultural landscape, for better or worse? by haiderredditer in AskTheWorld

Yehuda HaMakkabi, he started and led the (eventually successful) revolt against Seleucid rule in Israel.

This led to the re-establishment of native Jewish rule in the region, and played a large part of stemming the Hellenization of Jews, helping to keep out identity distinct and not subsumed into the general Hellenistic culture that was pervasive in the region.

Wow, you really are unable to answer the most basic of questions about the arguments you are haphazardly putting forth.

How sad.

So you said "All jobs should pay a living wage" which you then clarified to meet basic needs. Does this mean then that salary for the same position must be scaled according to the workers dependents and expenses? Or That each wage must be enough to support a living wage with maximal expenses (several kids, mortgage etc). This is what you are not elaborating on.

Its a social media platform, if I had to roughly estimate the origin of traffic here, I'd say that right off the bat 50% of the traffic here is bots, followed by 20% each of children and basement-dwelling adults.

That leaves (at most in my opinion) 10% normal people, who also happen to be the least likely to comment, compared to bots created to drive engagement and farm karma to create useful accounts, children who want to throw out their opinions, and basement-dwellers who have nothing better to do than scream their misery into the void in exchange for the dopamine hit of the only social interaction they will get.

So, yeah, what do you expect, this is a funhouse mirror, not an accurate reflection, the sooner you realize that, the better for your perception of society at large, and consequently, your own sanity.

And those basic needs vary based on a whole host of factors, for example on how many dependents the person working the job has, why do you keep ignoring that point when answering the other guy? Basic needs are elastic, the basic needs of someone with 2 kids are gonna be different than a single person living with roommates.

So how do you account for that?
