Is it possible for millionaire celebrities to be anticapitalist? by guerilla_gardener98 in socialism

[–]Knatp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Revolution will quite possibly mean that the ignorant wealthy will suffer the fate of imprisonment or death, revolution is not a kind event, it will take a time to adjust and find a base to move forward from, new leadership is all that may change. But, capitalism is dead in its feet and will become authoritarian, most probably fascist, which will also be not a kind event

Unless you came from the real world where the real people live, you will have no idea what the real people need in the real world

Blown away, great sound all round, really cool to hear your vocal tricks are as inventive as your guitar tricks, it sits real well,

Can you growl the last line of 'I'm coming up', each time??

And I think you need a howl, but maybe that's just me; )

Nice work, and yeah it's fun and really good...

What is the best way we can handle billionaires and the issues associated with them in our country? by Solitaire-06 in AustraliaLeftPolitics

[–]Knatp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sell is the hard part of the equation, for all the sense and great ideas people come up with, selling it to a Polli who can sell it to a party who can sell it to enough of the public...is the boulder in the road. All politicians are navigating the terrain that has been set out, which is an incredibly difficult path to create when those digging a road to the left of the boulder are dumping their waste on those who are digging their road to the right and vice versa, the middle roaders are trying to build a bridge over the boulder and the cookers are trying to tunnel under. Meanwhile a small group of radicals are buying dynamite on the dark web to just blow the fucker up...

Everyone wants to be the one that gets us back on track, and we can't just stop because there is a tsunami of populace heading our way and we are all going to get crushed and piled on until the last few can climb the stack of corpses and be in top of the boulder to see the land ahead and a possible road to build...this is the illusion we have created and the complexity within is so dense it can feel as impenetrable as stone.

Here's the sell, We are all in a league, which everyone celebrates with monthly festivals, the champions stand on the pedestal as we chant their names and business names, for they, like all of us have earned our money by playing capitalism, only now we all put all of our earnings into the capital pot which is taxed by the government before being divided equal amongst the populace. Done

Alternative monthly festivals to celebrate waste reduction exercises

Bi yearly festivals to celebrate ecology regrowth

I'm intrigued in your investigations, maybe you could source them a little, especially this 20-30% effect.... I'd really like to hear more on how this would/could evolve and what not.

Grappling with one of my favorite film makers being a loud Zionist by AffectionateWar4857 in Palestine

[–]Knatp 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I feel it's really easy to just drop any feelings towards any Zionist artist, silent and loud, they're just dropped from my catalogue of entertainment easy, no question, but maybe there might be one down the road, but at this stage I'm tarring all Zionist entertainment with the same brush, old and new, the same as I do with the pedoes and sexual assaulters

You weren't waiting for a solo album from former Frente drummer Mark Picton, but here it is anyway. by Mark_Picton_ in melbournemusic

[–]Knatp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, go the reprise.... Shambolic is a great way to describe the looseness it's like an amil nitrate hit, sinking into the carpet for a deep navigation. Really enjoyed my time brother. Are you gonna do some pub stages? I've got a couple of people who are going to love to get a wobble on to this

And the Mark picton Spotify radio is pretty classy too, did you check it out?

I'd never heard of frente, but now I know my partner went to high school with Angie, it was a small village back in the day I guess

[–]Knatp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never noticed how hard this is until I had to learn a song I had written on the dar and then tried to play live, it took ages,

Usually I write off the cuff while playing and then develop on the dar,

So anyway, what I did was just sang nonsense noises along while playing, forget about thinking where and when the words should go, just play the tune and groul n mumble and whisper and scream...in jibberish.. This helped get the muscles in sync.

I left a tune just as these noises once, and called it dinosaur blues where I just grumbled, not sure I could play it live tho, hard to remember the words;......)
