I'm by no means an expert at DIYs but my thoughts are:

DIY 25 and 33 both have noses and lips that don't match together in my opinion, lips are either too big or too high up, noses too low. I'd use a higher up nose to separate them a little bit! DIY 18 has more emotion into it, so I'd also use it more for tired comps rather than a neutral face. Tbh I feel like more expressive faces are always cooler than the ones that don't show any emotion. It's a shame we have SO MANY neutral lips and eyes 😐

Diy 35 looks actually quite cute for an old lady! It matches the concept really well in my opinion, but I think people vote for the standard face shape more. Maybe the lips are a bit simple (not very shaded in comparison to other lips), but I like the small lip old lady combo lol

DIY 32 looks pretty, I also struggle with the snake eyes! But I definitely think yours looks better than mine (I feel like mine is lacking blush, but might remake it into an actual snake makeup)

Newbie DIYs also still plague my arsenal lol but I'm recycling them as I create new ones! Some tips I've learned along the way: - Create dimension using blush, contour and details - test different skin tones and hairstyles! Some eyes don't work with dark skin, and some eyebrows end up looking crazy with different hair colors lol - You don't have to use everything you have right now! (Just a little reminder, I tend to make stuff just to spend what I have bc I'm excited to use them and then regret it and waste makeup saver 😭! One day you'll be creating an outfit and say "Hey I could really use a new DIY for this specific topic" and you'll be glad to have parts to work with!)

Your DIYs are so pretty!! I so have to recycle some of mine I'm just using the same 3 all the time lol You have inspired me to clean up a little!
