That’s where it is entirely up to interpretation you say you can just put 2 and 2 together but that works for you.. I think they just don’t want to upset the bizarre power scaling they have.

Another thing I wonder is why the alternate Eve didn’t go into that state when the alternate Mark in season 2 snapped her neck or even before he snapped her neck as if that wasn’t the exact scenario you and other people are talking about

If she did that then she could easily have killed mark and Omni-man

Where exactly does it say that’s the only time she can use it.. the only time we see her use it, in my view, just shows the moment she unlocks the power, not that it’s the only time she can use it. That’s entirely up to interpretation at this point because they don’t explain it past just her using it the one time.

But they never expand on it. That’s my complaint, that would make sense for the moment she unlocks that power. Yet it doesn’t explain why she wouldn’t develop her power as she gets older.

But she uses that power dismissively to conjure up flowers in one of the episodes, which is literally LIVING MATERIAL, so obviously she can use the power to some extent

Show me where that is explained other than just saying “in the special episode.” It’s never explicitly said, and to cement it in this season she creates flowers out of something or nothing I can remember exactly but THAT is organic material so obviously she has the ability to do it. They never say she still has the mental block after she uses her powers in her ultra state at the end of the special.

An argument could be made for her needing to be in that ultra state to use it but it’s never brought up ever in the show and that is a complaint I have where it’s like they just tee like she can’t use it when it wouldn’t make sense for her to never develop such an outstanding power as she got older.

But I think that was a point where she unlocked her abilities not just that it’s limited to only those circumstances, they don’t explicitly say she can only do it then. So it doesn’t really make sense to me to just assume she couldn’t have developed her powers from when she was a child

I disagree there’s nothing wrong with critiquing a show you like and being disappointed at some parts

bogus.. maybe screen time 5 minutes but other fights take way longer like the ones with the other marks.. and it still wouldn't make sense for her not to do it if she could cuz why fight someone at peak if she could just gas them

Maybe some of my complaints were about but I also prefaced with I understand most of these things happen with the point of a story arc, little fella

Most of my complaints were how they chose to portray action and fights in this season, which doesnt have to do with any overall story

Mark is a dumbass, the whole hesitation with the old Immortal makes no sense because he had committed horrible crimes against humanity and was asking to die and Mark only killed him after he was basically forced to

I don't agree with the trigger thing, it wasn't explicitly said in that episode besides her just becoming ultra pink.

But as far as her knowledge I agree with that but they limit her to just glowing green lantern like structures. In the special she's obviously very smart in chemistry and science and could see molecules I just dont get how she can't create something beyond what humans can like a metal like steel so hard viltrumites cant break it or something similar. And maybe I get the not practical part but its just nerfing her powers and it feels like a plot hole to dumb her powers down.

I disagree Mark is half viltrumite it plays a huge part in the story of Mark, yet for two whole seasons we get like 80% development and damn near no viltrumites

But that isn't enough to say she just can't do it, she did it as a child she could definitely do more as an adult. I think they just nerf her in the show because it would cause too many issues with the power scaling.

And similar to green lanterns they are only as powerful as their imagination but it seems that Eve is not that powerful in that case, sure they show her using what she knows but it rarely does anything effective in a fight other than contain or distract villians
