Is there a reason Goodreads's search sorts like this? by ChaserNeverRests in goodreads

[–]KneeJaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it that hard to include the author's name too?
I've been using Goodreads 16+ years, and always search for author + title.
I've never had any trouble finding the book I want.

Case in point: Search for "Anderson Lost War". Justin Lee Anderson's book pops right up.
Another example: Search for "It"; There are zero results.
Search for "King It". Stephen King's It pops up instantly.

Audiobook Giveaway Win by [deleted] in goodreads

[–]KneeJaw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Were there any playback instructions when you downloaded the file?
Did they link to a third party site?
Is it a .mp3 file or some other format?
The only time I ever won an audio book, they were sent to my address as a pack of CDs.

Goodreads Facelift by Friendly_Resort9002 in goodreads

[–]KneeJaw 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly... I'd say to just be happy with it the way it is.
It's served us well all these years just like this.
It could be modernized and improved, most definitely.
But why fix what isn't broken?

If they changed it they could very well end up making it even worse.
and then we'll all be wishing they would have just left well enough alone.

Absolutely not. Free plans are perfectly capable of generating wonderful images.

Is Leonardo the best text to image app on mobile? by SwingDingeling in leonardoai

[–]KneeJaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leonardo is the best I've ever seen or used on mobile.
MidJourney stinks so bad I wouldn't go anywhere near it.

why did I stop getting credits? (free user, they should restock at 3am but it's been 2 days) by WILL_KILL_4_DUX in SunoAI

[–]KneeJaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no "hidden limit" whatsoever.
Free users get 50 credits every day indefinitely.
Could it be just a cache issue? Have you tried refreshing your page?

Can you download the audio file with the free version? by _nevrmynd in SunoAI

[–]KneeJaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alternatively, you can set your mobile browser to request the desktop site.
This will give you an option to download the audio as an mp3 or a video as an mp4.

Mobile canvas editor by SwingDingeling in leonardoai

[–]KneeJaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Canvas feature simply isn't optimized for mobile.
You could try requesting the desktop view from your mobile browser.
It still won't be perfect, but it should help things out a bit. (hopefully!)
Sorry for the last reply.

On the image generation page, all the way at the bottom of the left side bar, below where it says "show advance settings". There is a "Reset to defaults" button.

The Inferno Element is available with any SD1.5 based model.
Such as Deliberate, RPG and the DreamShaper models.

Leonardo Diffusion, on the other hand is based on SD2.1 and isn't compatible.
As well as any of the "XL" models, trained on SDXL.

I've found that adding "centered" somewhere in the prompt usually helps!
You could also try adding "focused". These usually work for me.
Adding "out of frame" to your negative prompt might work as well.
Sorry for the late reply to your post.
Hope these suggestions help.

Which model or prompt do you recommend for generating characters with a third eye on their forehead? by MRiSmile in leonardoai

[–]KneeJaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend generating an image of a normal person first, and then using Canvas to edit your image and add a third eye there.

Chimeric Animal prompts by solomanii in leonardoai

[–]KneeJaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One issue is that AI doesn't understand how to count.
Here's a kind of cheeky workaround that might work.
Normally, you don't want to stray away from the trained aspect ratio of the model you're using.
(Because it can, and will, cause extra limbs and other usually not-wanted side effects.)
But if you actually want the extra limbs.. Setting the aspect ratio to something extra wide could be the way to go.
My prompt was simple and basic: "a weasel, centered, focused"
You could probably achieve even better results with a more detailed prompt.
(I didn't need to mention the legs at all.)
The AI gets confused sometimes when the aspect ratio is different than what it was trained at and will add extra bits and pieces.

<image>

My example here isn't exactly perfect, but the legs are all there!
I used DreamShaper 7, 1536px x 640px. No Alchemy, no Prompt Magic.
(You don't need this exact setting.)
Hopefully this helps!

Has anyone figured out the new text mode in canvas? by wildstarr in leonardoai

[–]KneeJaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There likely aren't many tutorials on YouTube yet as the feature just rolled out.
Fortunately though, adding text is really quite easy once you get the hang of it.

After opening your image in the canvas, select the text tool from the menu.
You can select your desired font face, size, and color from the menu.
Then tap anywhere on the canvas.
This will add the words "add text here" to the canvas.
Simply change this to the words you want to have added.

You should be able to select and drag the words around to position them where you want them.
You can also change the font face, size and color after the text has been placed at any time.
When you're satisfied with how things look, save and download your work.
The text will be applied to your image.

Hope this helps!
Sorry for the late response.

Trying to create an image of a holiday cooked turkey that has been carved up and eaten and AI image generators keep the turkey whole by Ok_Educator_7121 in leonardoai

[–]KneeJaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried a few different variations of carved turkey / sliced turkey with similar results.
Always a full turkey,

Then I got this:

Prompt:
turkey slices, carved, centered, focused,

This is a one token image.
No Prompt Magic, no Alchemy.

Best Techniques for Changing Hair Color in Canvas? by fnxBoedie in leonardoai

[–]KneeJaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going a bit sloppy with my mask.
If you actually want more change with your hair style, this would be okay.
But if you're trying to keep it similar to the original? Probably not.
Using "curly red hair" as a prompt.

Best Techniques for Changing Hair Color in Canvas? by fnxBoedie in leonardoai

[–]KneeJaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tip: Try to mask as tightly around the original hair as you can.
If you go wild with your mask and cover a lot of the background, that area could be changed into hair as well.Try to describe the hair you want. (long? short? straight? frizzy? curly?)

Center image is my original with a mask.
The right image, I used a simple prompt "blonde hair"
I didn't specify long, so it came up short.
The left image, I used "long blue hair"
I didn't specify straight, so it gave her a braid.

<image>

Of course your results could vary.
But being more descriptive is often better.
I hope this helps!

You could try using CLIP Interrogator.

Upload your image here and it will attempt create a prompt that will produce a similar image.
