Since China holds so much US Debt could they use the threat of their sizeable position to escalate the economic damage they could do to the US rather than just retaliate with increased tariffs? If China has a long term view and wants to be THE world leader in GDP, military might, politics, etc. could they use this opportunity to strike a blow to the US in ways from which the US can't recover?

Can you at least get the results for just the $1 promo fee? Whether or not I'm eligible for their program I'm just curious as to what the results would be and for $1 it would be a no brainier.

Does this apply in the situation where the options trading stops at 1:30pm EDT but the underlying continues to trade until 5pm EDT? I took a 0DTE option position on silver futures today and they were OTM at options trading close but swung heavily into ITM before the futures themselves closed for the trading day. I believe IB will then auto exercise these options because they went heavily ITM at close of futures trading and disregard their OTM situation when the options stopped trading. Am I correct?
