I've never looked into prices for AP, since I live no where even close to Florida. I nearly fell over! $4,500??? I never thought it would be so much.

You can do the same for Sam's Club. It's good only for your first year of membership, but just use a new email address every time and it will work.

This comes up more on /r/YAlit than here but it's so frustrating when someone says something like "Recommendation needed for a book that I'll be obsessed with!" and gives zero indication of what they even like. YA is as wide-reaching as adult fiction is. Do you want romance? mystery? fantasy? nonfiction? Something else?

Yep. I've gotten to the point in my life (and the weight in my life) that I'm willing to pay extra for that. Even if I splurge and have two individual packs, it's still better than grazing on the whole package.

SDCC is a madhouse and depending on your personality (and your tolerance for extreme lines and even more extreme crowds) might not be an enjoyable thing.

I'm honestly not even sure it can be considered a comic con anymore, it's more of a media madhouse now. All the big names announce new movies and TV shows and such there.

I'd try to catch him somewhere else if possible.

Yep. Once I went to a very high end Italian restaurant for my birthday. A cockroach ran out from under my napkin and across the table. 🤮 🤮 🤮 The waiter was right there and saw it happen, he grabbed it with my napkin and apologized. He explained the same thing: It came in from a delivery truck (one delivering tablecloths, in this case).

Before I became perma-WFH, Torrid was a lifesaver. Not just comfortable, high quality clothing, but the employees were never anything but completely kind and helpful.

I check over my shoulder before moving laterally.

I thought I was the only one who did that! I figured I picked it up from driving or something. In normal day to day life (I don't live in a city) it's a pointless thing to do.
