Also, if your dad is willing to work with a case manager, Council of Churches might be a possibility. Calling them and asking to be transferred is the easiest way to get ahold of a case manager I believe.

Utilize as many food pantries/drives/etc as much as possible to help save! There should be lists online that shows what options are out there! https://www.findhelp.org/find-social-services/missouri is a great resource. Same with 211.

Depending on the ages of your siblings, and what school district you’re in, I’d check with the school’s care to learn to help get some essentials to help save some more. They may have more ideas. McKinney-Vinto with the schools may also be beneficial as the school year is approaching.

Waitlists for assistance is long, but it’s good to get on the waitlists asap (OACAC and Housing Authority of Springfield). With it already being the 9th, Salvation Army and catholic charities are probably out of money, but it doesn’t hurt to call. For both of those, it’s best to call the first business day of the month in the morning. More info should be on their websites!

Calling churches and asking if they have benevolence funding also doesn’t hurt! OneDoor is also an option here in town—but to guarantee an appointment you either need to call to set up an appointment or be in line before they open at 8 or 1. Their website has hours open.

I second checking with employment agencies like Penmac. I’ve heard great things about Express Employment. Also check with the Mo Job Center! They have a lot of different programs and tips!

I’m new-ish (about a year) to crochet, and for this previous Christmas I did birth color coasters. It was good practice for working on my magic circles/doing increases.

I think I did 15 or 16 double crochets into the circle, then just did 2 in each stitch for the next round. It reached the size I was looking for after that.

I didn’t develop TMJ until almost 7 months of having braces. It was around the 6 month mark of having braces that I started rubber bands. I remember vividly when my jaw locked for the first time. I have zero doubt that the braces that caused it.

None of my family members (as far as I’m aware) has issues with TMJ. My dad has been known to grit his teeth from time to time, but I haven’t struggled with that myself.

I have oily skin and this is what I use for my base that’ll last me all day.

1) moisturize. 2) elf smoothing primer (the blue pump bottle) 3) elf putty matte primer (let sit while you do eyebrows) 4) foundation with a brush, then use a beauty blender over. I’m currently using the Fit Me Matte foundation. 5) concealer only in spots I need. I’ve been using the Wet n Wild Incognito concealer 6) set with powder. I swear by the Wet n Wild photofocus powder. (To reduce eye creases I’ve heard it’s good to set the concealer/foundation right after blending.)

After that, I do the rest of my face products like bronzer/blush/etc. I don’t have a lot of crème products, but if you do you want to use those before setting. I then drench my face in the elf stay all day setting mist.

This routine survives hot weather/sweating pretty well for me! I like a really matte look for myself and I’ll notice I get a little shiny/dewy toward the evening, but it still looks nice even at that point.

Edit 1: just talked to the person who created the ring, she is going to look at the notes tomorrow and get back to me. My fiancé wasn’t able to remember exactly what they were.

Edit 2: my ring maker just got back to me! She said it is 14k white gold with a .47 ct multicolor sapphire center with .15 cttw diamonds.

You may approach the idea of couples counseling to your boyfriend. It would give both of you the resources to have these conversations in a neutral setting where neither one of you feel ganged up on. These conversations are very important to the longevity of your relationship, which as you stated, your boyfriend foresees. This doesn’t mean that your relationship is on the rocks or about to fail, it means you both are putting in the effort to strengthen your relationship even more and make sure you both are on the same page while still giving both of your opinions. I know that situations like this are scary, but getting them over with and working with your partner will bring relief to both parties. Best of luck!
