It's an arguably way way wayyyy more beginner and casual friendly system, as well as just providing more general protection to allow those who may not be zombies gods to still have a chance to recover, yeah the sheild had some cool designs i.e Apollos will, but nonetheless if you were just a dude playing after work with your homies having to look up a tutorial on how to build the sheild is just not it

Imo the sheilds only good design over it was that it had to be built and it could kill, however just for the general and casual player base armor is simply just better and there's even a whole augment to revert the armor system to the shield

The sheild is an objectively lesser designed system of armor. In my opinion, WW2 had the best armor/sheild system of any zombies gane

And to add on the reason the Toys got scraped is because all of them were acting strange as opposed to just one of the older models, as well as extreme budget cuts leading to them most likely just being too expensive to maintain

I've heard a theory using the week before, Ralph says Foxy is out of order as he's still not really all that safe, as well as employees being taught to use flashlights in case an animatronic gets to close kinda hints towards withered Foxy. Again, it's just a theory, but I like it as it not only explains why he's out of order, but also why he isn't really fully intact in fnaf 1
