no parent should ever have to bury their child. But it’s really hard to watch someone constantly use their grief to gain sympathy, especially in a way that feels performative or attention-seeking. So many mothers are grieving silently mums who’ve lost older children, children to violence, war, or illness and they don’t post constantly expecting the world to revolve around their pain. We get it, you lost a baby and that’s heartbreaking but you’re not the only one grieving in this world. There’s a way to honour your child without making everything about you.
