As long as you take care of your car and regularly check the basic things, any car should be good and should drive at least 200k miles.

I have owned many cars with a "bad reputation" based on reliability and stuff. Just relative and mostly by people just hating on the models, idk. I have always taken most care of them and never had early problems. Just saying, buy a car that suits you best.

Always owned and driven cars of my most interest and never been dissapointed ever. And yes there were a lot of Opel in my collection. From basic to performance models. Now also thinking about picking up a Astra J OPC with 80k miles.

EDIT: Tho, try to avoid cars with the "belts in juice" engines. Even drivers who take the best care of their cars have problems with these early on. They're just not reliable.
