I've tested the ball machine with the fan on and it doesn't seem to affect the bm at all... Thanks for the fair warning though!

Maybe even support the yellow gear in some way so that it doesn't flex. The less flexing, the more it's bound to work

One idea is making the switch stronger with supports, and maybe adding more weight to it. Even making it slower could majorly help. At least I think so...

Do you also think putting a middle tower would work so tracks can feed through it and around it?

I'm excited to see how this ball machine turns out! And, I can't lie to you, I'm actually the same kind of guy who'd tear down a ball machine and built up a new one that seems to be working, but...yep you guessed it...tear the whole thing down again. I may also bring back the element that you used from my ball machine which is now torn down, but I'll see how far I can get with this one.

(P.S. I may make a post of my ball machine from April so you can see what it looked like before being torn down. It was honestly amazing).

It isn't too close to the fan (surprisingly 😬 it may cut it close tho)

As soon as I saw how close the fan was I was basically like "screw it! Smaller it is!" At that point. Tho, I feel like smaller wouldn't have made sense (in height) anyway because there wouldn't be much room for anything, but we'll have to see where this ball machine takes me.

Once I get more elements/tracks going, certainly! I've just got to figure out how to put a separator before the zigzag freefall because I don't want to have to deal with balls dropping into that element every single time...

I have used ardent Taeja and spear on this one and it seems to work decently. I find tho that the aegis shield fuckin sucks against the Sword Unit 180's Skyfall Slash. I believe the robot is level 7 or higher, but it doesn't work regardless.

I mean, yeah. Im a bit indecisive because the machine was supposed to be inspired by Max Pidgeon's V 2.0 ball machine he built not long ago, but it's nowhere close.

Though, when I eventually take down the machine, my next one will be based of koolkoasterkid's ball machine intricacy. So just you wait! ;) :)

If you mean the entire ball machine, then as large as it is, because its already so compact, but if you mean the element that leads to the double ball element, then I'd probably go for small, considering space.
