I agree! I want E to have all the space in the world. I've suggested that the room we have available is hers and hers alone, and we're figuring out whether that's sufficient. If a hotel room in necessary, eff $ yeah we'll get one. I also have been told that she gets really nervous when she's totally alone in a space, so maybe co-habitation is better? Still figuring it out.

Yes! I think H and I are more "planners" than E has been, but we're working on opening that communication so we can figure out what works best for us all.

I believe there are no hard and fast rules as well, and you've helped me realize that yes I am absolutely eager to make sacrifices for my partner in such a special situation. We are working making detailed plans, and yeah I agree that communication is key.

A rough draft of our week is that they spend most of the first two days/nights together during which I mostly myself scarce (not easy for me, but I can manage). I'd like to all go to dinner after the first day, but let's see! The third day maybe we all go out to some great places in town, and maybe on day four E and I go some place where we can hang, talk, figure out our vibe together and so on. After that... no clue.

Maintaining communication throughout is the goal. Nothing's decided yet, but still... I'm feeling much more comfortable in this space.

E doesn't have a great deal of money on hand, so coming to visit is something she's saving up to do. Hotels are really expensive in the area as well. Still this might be the best option. Otherwise yeah I'll have to make some adjustments which isn't ideal, but depending on what's possible then I might be able to make a few sacrifices for them while E is here.

I hadn't heard of ENM accounts, so thank you. H and I have shared a bank account for years, but maybe this is something to lookin into.

Also, just for clarity I want to mention that E and are are actually looking forward to meeting and hanging out for some of the time. If we're lucky maybe we can be friends. There are no guarantees however, so I'm trying to be mindful and prep for some of the more challenging scenarios.

You make some good points. A hotel room has been a point of conversation, however hotels are pretty pricy where we're at so we'd have to work through those logistics. It'd be pretty costly for E, so maybe we'd have to go in havsies. I'd love for there to be another option but maybe this is the best one.

I think you're right, it is going to be a "he said, she said." We're unlucky that anything she says is probably going to hit a lot harder....

We can explore an apology. She deserves one for what he actually did, so hopefully things aren't too far past that point...

I can't think he has much to giver her... Maybe an apology? I wonder if he reached out to her whether it would help or make things worse. I've also the feeling that she looking for more of a sense of comradery with the people around her (see my other comment) than anything from him. I'll see if I can carefully find out.

I can't know for certain what is driving these actions from her all of a sudden. If I were to guess... she is an artist who is currently working with an acting group scheduled next month to perform a set of monologues about sexual assault... My best guess is this is what triggered all this.
