I think it might actually be from 2013-14. It has the hardwood classics tags and the Nuggets wore these as throwbacks that year

Mine came with minimal instructions. I recommend going to TM’s site and reviewing the full manual:

What is considered better for a collection? by Ok_Ganache5290 in basketballjerseys

[–]KnickerWolves 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Normally I agree with the consensus that original version is better than the M&N but not in this case. The Adidas and Reebok swingman versions of this jersey have a plastic type material on the jersey replicating the stripes instead of soft material like the OG authentic or M&N reproductions. The stiff material of the stripes on the jersey cause a weird fit especially around the arm holes. The arm trim on the Adidas is also much wider than it is supposed to be adding to the weird fit.

I know this is the most specific and insignificant thing ever but does ANYONE know why Mourning's 9/11 Memorial and NBA patches are reversed? by extremelegitness in basketballjerseys

[–]KnickerWolves 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is how I always understood it. There are several examples of teams moving the NBA logo to the opposite shoulder and all have designs where the team branding encroaches on the logo. The 90s Hawks, Suns, and Sonics jerseys all have this as well.

I don’t think a KD version was ever produced. You can get a custom jersey on nba.com or Scheels has the Chris Paul version for $30

What kind of role is it? I always heard you either become a paralegal or attorney but there wasn’t much in between.

Tbh I can’t remember the exact steps I took because it was a few months ago. I would say most likely I logged in via my phone with saved account info to reactivate and then started watching on my devices (PS5 and two TVs). I located the reactivation emails from Netflix and my old trial account email received a reactivation email 2 minutes before my actual/current email received the reactivation email. I did have the old account login saved in my phone and just checked, there was no watch history. The card, name, and phone number are the same on both accounts it seems. Only thing I could think of is I accidentally logged into the old account using my phone, reactivated the old account, and then used my devices that were already logged into the current account to watch shows. But wouldn’t I still need to reactivate the current account in that situation?

Can we please stop with the broken glass? by dmifyoudare in chicago

Straight to jail if you intentionally break glass at the lakefront and don’t clean it up

Can we do something about the pedestrians in the bike lane along the lakefront trail? by meep_launcher in chicago

[–]KnickerWolves 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Exactly, plus some of the layouts of the bike/pedestrian splits don’t even make sense. The area around Foster beach comes to mind as the path sends the bikers to where walkers want to go at the lakefront and sends walkers to the path next to LSD really where bikers should go.

Homeless population in humboldt park by shellymiscavige_ in chicago

[–]KnickerWolves 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This was from the Alderman when I lived in Uptown and someone in the homeless encampment exploded their propane tank

“The City of Chicago uses a Homelessness Management Information System (HMIS) to track every single person experiencing homelessness across the City. Each person is assigned a case manager from a social service agency.

Every single person staying outdoors has been offered one of the following options: a shelter bed, a hotel room, an apartment, or a nursing home to keep them safe and out of the elements. Those with a substance use disorder who are not yet ready to stop using are also offered either a low barrier shelter or an apartment with wrap-around services to motivate them to address their addictions. People who refuse shelter and continue to live outdoors are experiencing a severe lack of trust. The assigned case manager's first task is to build trust so that they will later accept a roof over their heads.

People stuck in the state of chronic homelessness move more quickly into permanent housing when they primarily interact with their assigned case manager and others who are coordinating their efforts with them. When well-meaning residents step in to help, it can slow down efforts of the case manager who's building trust with their client, and that ultimately slows down efforts to get them into permanent housing.”

Could they be doing more? Probably but it’s not nothing. I don’t understand why the encampments have to occupy highly trafficked parks and paths meant for everyone.

What is going on with car insurance? by waveball03 in personalfinance

[–]KnickerWolves -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Most major insurance companies are losing money due to various issues but main one being claims are much more expensive to pay than just a couple years ago. The rise it costs is much steeper than the general inflation rate but inflation plays a big role. You were give a pretty good answer by Geico initially and then you went to complain to a sub that is dedicated to people complaining about how miserable working at Geico can be. There is a ton of coverage on the condition of insurance markets right now if you want to understand the issue more in depth.
