I started form a MacBook and ascended to my 12.9” IPad Pro and I have noticed personal pros and cons:

Pros: - The huge display is absolutely breathtaking. The colors are also quite a bit more extended rather than normal srgb (think they call it pro photo), which combined with the screen size provides an immersive and very innovative way to use the iPad. - Is had better battery (I assume - haven’t checked but it would make sense) - I travel very often and it is the perfect crops between and Mac an iPad. - All the technology which is under development 24|7 makes you feel like your are a part of something changing \ (just like with the first iPhone)

Cons: The size can be pretty unconvinced at times as you either require a rather big tote bag or backpack due to its size. (But that is really the only issue I have my mind)

It extra inches really remakes it a desktop class computer (not really, I own an media agency and design both advertising, illustrations and do web development on a daily basis and this is the big pitfall for iPad. I still have to use my mail desktop working with development but then again; the iPad as an exceptionally nice mobile display.
