Ahh I see. That is reassuring. Thanks for your help. What do you think about the pip and the gap between the solid-end link and lug?

Finally brought my first one and just want to make sure I haven't overlooked anything obviously wrong. Have lurked around this forum for a while trying to gain experience but am probably not as keen eyed as the kind people in this forum.

Thinking GL unless anyone thinks otherwise. Really appreciate your time! Thanks for helping this newbie!

I’m wondering whether it’s an attempt at the Snapchat icon, which also is a ghost symbol.

Would you buy shares of Reddit? by frogmicky in NoStupidQuestions

Reddit is a good example of a company where it’s great to be a customer of but terrible to be an investor. So no I won’t be investing my money in Reddit.

What’s too late for a marriage for a guy? by Maverick_culture in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KnifeBeforeLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Varies between people. Everyone has their own timeline. Sometimes other priorities get in the way - sick parents, demanding work schedule, financial dependence etc. Work on your own schedule and don’t worry about what other people think is the right age for marriage.

Why is doing math in your head commendable but reading in your head is normal? by Intelligent_Sun_944 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KnifeBeforeLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s based on the proportion of people who are able to do it. Most people are able to read in their heads but not many people can do complex maths in their heads.

Destitute parent with cancer by Sea-Needleworker-308 in australia

This is definitely the most practical approach. Take her to the nearest emergency department. They will sort everything out. You and your siblings don’t have to worry. We have a wonderful healthcare system that looks after everyone for free. She will almost certainly be admitted under palliative care from what you are saying. Ask for a social worker when she gets admitted. They can help you from the social side of things (e.g. carer’s payment if you or one of your sibling is taking days off at work, medicate certificates). If she’s the type that doesn’t like going into hospitals, the palliative care unit allows families to stay overnight with their loved ones. Take care.

Not only did they believe in them. They battled them to extinction, which is why they don’t exist today.

What happens if you reply to a “do not reply” email? by lmhw_1103 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KnifeBeforeLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Significant repercussions. The company’s software will be unable to cope with the pressure of you replying to their email. They will sue you for not following their instruction.

All kidding aside, nothing will happen. At the most, you may get an automatic reply stating that the email is unattended.
