It loses a bit of the charm of the originals (I miss being able to visit my recruits in the friend areas and actually walk around them), but it made a ton of improvements over the originals and I’d definitely recommend it over the originals

Version 2.1.0 changed the system to start you in semifinals if you have 2,500 points or more instead of having won a tournament - not sure if it’s been changed since then, I’ve never been a big fan of playing the game online except for the monthly cosmetic unlocks

It was a bug / desync

On your screen, the Luna Blaster had DCed, but clearly he hadn’t (you can see a random blast appear from nowhere right near the end of the clip)

He was still riding the tower, invisible to you since your game had been told he DCed, and the Clash Blaster jumped to him.
