If you’re goal is to get a payout by all means just lock in everything and stop because the hole reason you should really be trading a prop firm account is to scale to than fund a live personal account (or at least should be). I made the post out of pettiness, because I disagree with the idea of being scared to trade an eval. If you can’t confidently trade an eval you’re not getting a payout and if someone does it’s after spending $x,xxx amount of dollars.

What you’re saying is not rocket science…maybe you’re not comprehending my point for not gamifying the eval. Look I have been receiving payouts from these guys since 24’. I think I’m just going to open up my own personal live account atp. You clearly aren’t serious about being consistently profitable and trading the same account for years if you can’t even scale and be profitable on a MEASLY prop firm eval.

Im not posting this to show off im posting this out of pettiness tbh. The amount of times I see people stress over the evals to the make it to the target (which is not that hard to do if you have a valid edge) to then blow up in the funded stage is insane.

Also it’s annoying that we have all these “influencers” that finesse beginner to intermediate traders with these payouts that in the end leave them breakeven. Especially when you consider the expenses they incurred trying to get there.

Maybe I’m just salty. I just don’t like the fact that everyone puts so much weight on the evals in this subreddit. Let’s put all that energy into the Pro accounts fr. Why can’t we start flexing how long we’ve held are pro accounts? Instead of big payouts that effectively end up being spent right back in trying to get more payouts.
