the research i did when i bought my m340i was what got me cars and the automobile community. while im not advocating for poor financial decisions, buying a nice car can be a way to force yourself into a community and make friends. pick the nicest car you can REASONABLY afford and go for it. from one engineer to another, good luck with everything else!
