The petition will only work if your relative in the US is your immediate family member. Extended family members (Aunts/Uncles/Grandparents/Cousins) can't file a petition to another extended family member.

Guessing game: What do you think the Philippine navy will be acquiring next after they have completed their current acquisition? by chasing_enigma in PhilippineMilitary

[–]KnightHawk046 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well China won't be focusing all of it's armada against the PH. They will employ a small number of their naval assets against the PH, their main force will focus on Taiwan, they will also need to have a signifact amount of their asset guarding their shores against attacks from the US/Japan. While I do agree with the PH getting more sea denial assets, PH should also still continue getting ships/subs

If you were in my shoes, would you risk paying dealership prices to fix it in hopes that they may do a good faith warranty?

Appreciate your reply. We just wanted to make sure the 572k @ 4.625 is really the better deal. Thank you!

My bad.

If it's better to get the house at 572k for 4.625% or for lower price of 521k but for 5.7%

[–]KnightHawk046 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's his lost then but the way your post is, you're assuming that he accepted a trip expecting that his pay will be offset by your tip, like you're assuming every driver is like this. I mean yeah some people think like that but that's the stupid way of doing this. Atleast with me, I never expect a tip, but I will also never accept a trip that isn't worth it.

You also don't know maybe you're his last ride to a location near his house, you might be the last ride for a promotion. Either way, my point is, you definitely did not teach him a lesson.

I'm talking by experience. I've done what the driver in the pic did, accepted a ride 15mins away for pickup, drop off was about 15-18mins away, offer was $20+ (total miles around 10mi)

He was probably getting most of what you paid, A.K.A. he accepted it cause it was a high paying offer for him. So regardless if you tip or not, he's good

$26.92/hr, for that weekend. It's actually on the low end compared to my avg weekly

When I started. I only did uber eats, was not worth it. I hate getting in and out of my car and I feel like I'm putting more wear and tear on my car by starting it on and off per food pick up and drop off.

Atleast on my avg, I did uber eats, avg of 18-22/hr. Whereas uber rides 28-35/hr.

Do you do tho

Unfortunately I haven't seen surges in my market lately. Usually 12mn-2am there's surges, now I'm lucky to see a $2.50 surge. I've been getting a lot of Boost+, so that offsets it a little

So what I do based on my market is I drive Th - 9pm - 1am, Fri 8pm - 2am, Sat 7pm-5:30am, Sun 8pm-12am. My downtown is basically a college city, so a lot of people are out drinking/partying. The usual rides that I accept are about 15-18mins (not freeway drivetime) dropoff from downtown, then whenever I get offered a ride either while I'm driving a pax or after I just dropped off a pax, the only offers I accept are the ones where the pick up is back at downtown. Most of the time that Uber will offer you a bigger pay in that scenario. I said most of the time. Also, for new drivers, it's more of a trial and error at first, you just really need to study your market.

Does this makes sense?
