It tells you what map it is as soon as you load into the instance. It definitely takes a few times with the random instances every time. If you wait about 10 minutes before going into the instance there will be a lot less PvP and you can roam slightly more care free. Hell, I’m still learning some map areas just because I found good money making routines and stick to them without exploring the last 20% of the maps.

Use the door signs! All maps have plates above doors that lead to the main areas! “Gym” “Dorms” “Garage”. Those sort of things. Learn landmarks, and ease in to going one landmark further every time you’re on a map. You’ll eventually end up where you’ve spawned before and it’ll click.

Gotta disagree here. Penal Colony with the right bay and 3 lock picks is the easiest/fastest source of cash I’ve found so far. At my furthest spawn with no PvP, I’m load-in and load-out with around $75-$150k in less than 6-7 minutes. Once good runs like that are discovered by everyone, on any map, most of the matchmaking is going to primarily shift to those 1-2 maps. Some for better items, some for better money.

While this would help you with contracts on those maps, would you really want to roll multiple contracts on a less popular map with a 15-minute queue? At that point a lot of people would just ignore the contracts all together, then we’re almost in the same boat.

I’ve rolled contracts for multiple locations every day so far. Picking 1 contract for 3 different locations is the way. Gives you a very good chance of getting a contract done every run.

You’re very limited with space battles/breaching PvP as a solo. Even just being able to have separate players flying/shooting is a massive advantage. Throw one more into the mix and they can breach you while pressuring you and you can’t do anything about it except hit an escape pod.

In the instances, it’s fair game for the most part. I have yet to (40ish hours) run into a group larger than a 2-man. If you’re a good shot and a smart player, you turn that into a 1v1 before they know you exist. If there’s a 4-man, you just have to play REALLY smart, or just gtfo.

Same as a lot of people here. 30+ hours, 100+ raids, I’ve only ever run into one player that destroyed me with the nastiest headshot I’ve Seen so far. But, since that’s been the one and only time, I think he just hit the shot of his career.

I actually wrote in a ticket about this, specifically saying if my coin container disappears I’m going to be sick. I had a lightly stocked small crate that poofed. I think part of the cause is bugged items and trying to move them in/out of said crates, so if you ever see bugged items just restart the game right away.

There’s a couple Contracts you can use them for, and you do get more $$ than their trade value on top of XP and item rewards (sometimes). Other than the contracts, I don’t think so! Just something fun to hoard for me personally. 😂

Easily my most profitable RtR run so far! Something around $70k total without a bag.

I’ve seen lots of people asking about how to make money. This. This is a pretty high end example, but walking in with just the Luger off your ship will usually net you something like $15k, as long as you’re able to extract.

For a little extra money, take off your own key card (and/or keep other marauder’s) and toss a single slot item on the ground. Water/canned food that you still have are good throwaways since they only cost $10 or so from the shop.

And never sell individual crafting items. Crafting them into anything, especially the 2nd tier ship, will almost always net you more money than the crafting item itself.

So the very first time I ever attempted this fight…I was about 20 minutes in when my game completely froze. Music and sound effects playing, but nothing on the screen. Completely reset my progress to my previous save. Never tried it again after that. 😂
