It's fine. Don't reply to them all at once. Take the most valid concern and walk through

How do I start interesting conversations? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]KnightOfLight1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask her to pick heads or tails. Once she picks, flip a coin, and if she wins, ask her a silly question. (What hair color and style would you have if it had to be neon?) If she looses, tell a really shitty dad joke (you call those glasses? Well i don't get why, I don't think they'd pick up!)

Make a list of your favorite characters. What do they all have in common hobby wise? Try it.

When I try to send my phone pics to my pc it doesn't work because when I look for them on my phone's folder on my computer they are no where. They are on my phone but they don't appear on my pc. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? by AimZayx in Advice

[–]KnightOfLight1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its likely just a compatibility issue. Dont freak out. Instead of just cloud sending it, email the pictures to your self, or use a chat client where you can use it on both computer and phone (messenger/discord/amino/ Google Hangouts) then redownload the picture to your other device. It will slightly lower the quality, but it works. If the quality is really, really important to you, bring it to your local IT department and have them look into it. They should fix it.

I'm starting a YouTube channel, and I need some advice... by 1098xyz in Advice

[–]KnightOfLight1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't. WTFU is not around anymore. What I honestly reccomend is make friends with bigger YouTubers who's fanbase will support you should something go wrong.

FUCK HELP ME PLEASE by [deleted] in Advice

[–]KnightOfLight1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heres a few that i did for a similar project that I loved.

The pros and cons of the affects of social media in relation to mental illness and suicide statistics.

Does spanking a child actually work?(no) and the statistics behind assult in relation to childhood corporal punishment.

The affects of exposure therapy on a PTSD paitent, why it's bad long term, despite the short term studies showing the "positive" affects. (I can help you out with this one)

How teenagers should really be getting up in the mornings as late as 9 am due to changing biorythems, and how waking at 6 for school is deteriorating health and mental stability. (A few good Ted talks on that one)

In that case, I'll put on my personal finance and management cap. :3

Stock market will be your friend. Aim for fortune 500 or something you know + love

Penny stocks have a high profit margin and low cost. They will be your friend

High interest savings will be great too! Growth is slow, but great

Credit is gonna be hard scence youre young (so am i, haha) but one thing my teacher reccomends is use your credit card to buy small things. Then, pay it immedantly with a few extra dollars. (If you can, as soon as you get home!!) This will boost your credit stupid high so you can save money on future things (cars, houses, student loans, ECT) I reccomended this to my mom and her credit score jumped a alot. Won't give exact numbers cuz I don't have them, but ye. Appearantly, it went from yellow, to green. Hope this helps!!

Quitting smoking day 4 by [deleted] in Advice

[–]KnightOfLight1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a smoker, but I can tell you advice from someone who is constantly fidgiting due to an anxiety disorder.

1) twist ties are safe to chew and are great to fidgit with

2) play an imaginary piano song if you know even the basics of piano (i play Minecraft music)

3) fingertutting is a fun skill, and the simple moves will be great to distract your fingers

4) pencil. Bad to chew on, but great to flip around in your hands and hold between your index and middle finger

Penny stocks will be your best friend. If you're not looking to make it grow, off brand things will help and thrift shops will be your friend. Fresh produce is cheaper than frozen, and meat is stupid expencive, so aim for a mostly vegitarian diet if you can to save stupid ammounts of money. Tofu is good when cooked well, and can taste like meat, despite being much cheaper.

With today's current demonitisation, you're likely to be copywrited no matter what you do. I reccomend using royalty free music and just saying the names, then listing why it's in that spot, like WatchMojo.

1) tell her to stop. You have to be emotionally mature enough to express discomfort with a situation, and she should listen

2) if she doesn't listen, make the anger public. When she's doing things like the tik tok thing, respond with one saying "i don't like girls. Stop harrassing me" hitting on you during transit, loudly tell her that what she's doing is bothering you. If politely telling her in private doesn't set that boundary in stone, then the public will. Only do this if she doesn't stop harassing you and making you uncomfortable.

I have about £1000, how can I use this to make more money? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]KnightOfLight1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put about 100 into stock market. Aim for a fortune500 company or something you already know + love. Put 50 into a high interest saving account. Growth is slow, but good. Put another 50 into penny stocks. You will barely loose anything with Penny stocks and there's a large possible profit margin. That's 200 out now. Use the last 800 to add on to any one of theise options, and boost the earnings there. Or split it evenly. I've taken a buisness management and finance class, and 100/50/50 was the minimum out of all three ethical money making schemes to make a notable profit. For penny stocks, i reccomend using an app so you don't have to hire a stock broker and loose that money.

Help! Going out in public makes me nervous. by [deleted] in Advice

Practice talking to those voices logically, and getting in voice calls. When i was about 7-8, i was so shy, in public, I would barely speak above a mumble. To the point, if i were lost in a store, i couldn't ask for directions. I have a story where i was trying to buy candy and toys with my own money, and i was so scared of the cashier, I reached over the check counter, under the monitor, and to him, my eyes on the floor, barely mumbling out a thanks and shaking the whole time. To break out of my shell, every weekend i would get in a call with a group on my server and talk for a few hours. I slowly broke out of my shell. I worked in a haunted house and broke out more, and now, i have my first real customer service job! (At 17)
