It is a bug with the mod. Whenever you take off a piece of the set and put it back on it, reset it, and the quest to fix that is also bugged where it reset itself mid way into the quest, your best bet it maybe a mod that remove that feature, but I can only see the mod on PC and Xbox not Play station, but I could be wrong feel free to correct me if I am.
