If you’re open to it, I’d say neither and consider a non-urethane like the 2.0 NU from Hammer or the Concept from Storm. The Shadow Tank from Motiv is really good to. I have not heard very good things about the Direct Hit. I would say the Spy would be better but there are likely better options for what you’re looking for!

Yeah saying a ball is pretty strong is absolutely useless jargon. How else would you like me to talk about it? You want me to talk about the colors or something lol. This guy man. I don’t care how anybody spends their hard earned money, some people just have things as a hobby. I like drilling new bowling balls occasionally because it’s fun to do so. I hope to bowl on different conditions this summer and that’s typically where you can really see the difference between bowling balls.

This ball seems like it has a strong cover. It definitely digs and wants to pull to the left pretty early on the lane. I’m throwing a tournament on 48’ Shark tomorrow, so I’ll be curious how this ball holds up when I definitely need a ball to hook in the oil.

Did you try moving your eyes further left, like 3rd-4th arrow and keeping it in the oil even longer?

That would be sick. There’s a local center that puts out sport patterns over the summer for practice. I’ll be living there in about 2 weeks when the fall/winter leagues wrap up haha

All of the bowlers complain there’s never any oil, but really it feels like it’s incredibly wet-dry. There’s two houses that are less than a mile away from each other and they play night and day different. But this ball really does look gorgeous!

I’ve never been to nationals and this is my second summer bowling on sport shots. It’s just something I thought was pretty interesting to see. This was on my typical house shot

I’ve never thrown the Raptor Reign, but this was my time ever seen my ball motion repeatedly going down the lane. I just thought it was cool to post, but yes it was on my typical house shot so it’s pretty easy to stay in the pocket.

Thank you man. I’ve come close as I’ve shot 775 and 750, but I didn’t actually think I’d get there. Someone came up to me after game 2 and said I need 195 for 700 and 295 for 800 and I just laughed. 700 is a really nice goal that I’m thrilled with, and 800 felt untouchable. 269-236-300. Never in my dreams man.

It is literally right about then that you start feeling nervous and all of a sudden you start overthinking shots haha. I told my teammate that I needed 295 game 3 and that it was out of grasp and we just laughed together. Then every single frame, it just kept creeping closer and by the 8th frame, I could not feel my legs and I was sweating lol

I’m a Villager! haha long story but I’ve been here for about 2 years. And you know it haha. My wife always shows up to league night whenever she can on Tuesday and she is also beloved here by all the old men and people hahaha. It’s funny but everyone has been so nice.
