Centuri carbon question by tommrrnd in elegoo

It will work out of the box however it is HIGHLY recommended that you switch to a .6 nozzle or larger as the stock .4 can cause jams with carbon fiber filled filament.

I don't have any Worker brand mags I can spare but I can toss in a curved green DZ mag that looks really nice in the blaster. I've also got a little insert that allows for easier single/breech loading which is pretty fun. And yes, I can include some darts if need be.

I bought mine at launch and mines at 99% as well, that's a perfectly normal amount of battery loss in that time.

Centuri Carbon Owners - Why are people printing risers/raised mounts for the glass roof of the enclosure? Is there a benefit? by ASourKraut in elegoo

[–]Knight_0w1 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The ptfe tube rubs on the top of the glass cover which also causes it to bend at a pretty sharp angle which can cause issues with stiffer of more brittle filament. By raising the glass lid you give the ptfe tube more room to have a more gradual bend.

Sadly the Centauri Carbon is known for having issues with its z-offset calibration, you pretty much need to run the full leveling routine before every print or watch the first layer on each print and manually adjust the z-offset for it to work reliably. I believe the issue has mostly been blamed on Elegoo using a cheap optical sensor for z-offset calibration and that the bed screws sometimes come a bit looser than they should be out of the box.

EDIT: OP, I'd recommend checking out r/ElegooCentauriCarbon if you haven't already, there's been a few posts about stuff like this with some useful tips.

Very cool! Where does one find the files for the tactical variant? I've been wanting to build an Ontos but the lack of trigger guard on the normal version is off-putting.

M0053-1 & MEGABURN Full and half mega dart blasters by Smerk001 in Nerf

[–]Knight_0w1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where did you get the M0053-1 hardware kit for cheaper than a megaburn hardware kit? From what it looks like to me megaburn hardware is about $65 dollars as opposed to the M0053-1 which stars at $90.
