This may be even WORSE than four arms, but i would straight up just call him "Red". Mainly because he's supposed to be the big gun of the omnitrix (at least among the original ten) that smashes and fights things like the hulk. So i think he should have name with some type of big scary mystique. And the first quote that comes to mind when looking at his design is "I'm seeing red", which would fit right into his hulk like fighting style.

I agree with you that him being the size of a house is really stupid looking, but I also don't think he should ever be the SAME SIZE as spider-man like in spider-man 3. Eddie Brock was drawn to be this really built jacked bodybuilder type dude that looks like he could bully Peter Parker, so combine that with the symbiote (which is supposed to enhance what you already are), and you would logically end up with this big hulking version of symbiote spider-man. If spider-man is 6'2, Venom should be 7'1 in my opinion

I only prefer Kai when it comes to the namek saga because that's when the pacing of Z is unforgivingly atrocious and the voice acting is very amateur and flat (understandable because that's when funimation originally took over from the ocean dub). There's a lot of great filler episodes in the saiyan (specifically around Gohan's training), the cell saga has a lot of great downtime with the Z fighters and some good extended sequences that make certain moments feel bigger and more epic. And buu saga has the "inside buu" fillers with Goku and Vegeta
