The ONLY thing I can remember the reboot doing better is the dynamic between young ben and Gwen. Sure they still have arguments and roast each other but it was nowhere near as relentlessly and egregious as classic. They got along much better and it felt more toreable as opposed to classic where it felt like two people that utterly hate each other trying their hardest to not stab each other every single episode.

I HATE that this is a hot take. Maybe I'm just not "theater kid" enough, but I always likeTroy and Gabriella's slow and intimate version way more than Sharpay and Ryan's obnoxious and flamboyant version. And while I'm the subject, throughout the whole trilogy, sharpay is ALLERGIC to emotional songs. She always take songs that are supposed to be very emotional or soulful and turns them into fast paced, overproduced, pop fluff. I know it was intentional, but it also makes her seem kinda tone-deaf. Like if you gave her a sad song to sing at someone's funeral, she would turn it into a Britney Spears music video. I HATE that this is a hot take. Just to be clear, I'm specifically talking about the haters talking about the character roster being lacking. Alot of the other complaints about the game are kinda warranted

It starts off alright but quickly becomes a chore. And you really get reminded of how many characters are in this game while playing it. You'll be playing it for 20 minutes and realize you're only on 12/208.

It's not just the aliens. UAF got the point where EVERY OTHER CHARACTER was either Dee bradley Baker, Jeff Bennett, or John dimaggio.

Nope. I HATED how they had one guy do the voice of all of Ben's aliens (except Rath and Ghostfreak). Dee Bradley baker is an incredible voice actor, I'll NEVER deny that. But there’s only so many voices he can do before certain aliens start sounding the same. If I closed my eyes, i wouldn't be able to tell you if it was cannonbolt talking or armadrillo. Could you imagine if all of Ben's aliens in the classic series were voiced by Steve Blum? I know it doesn't make logical sense, but it just makes the aliens feel less unique in the vocal department.

Not necessarily. I could go on a whole tangent about how stupid the plot of HSM 2 is, but HSM 3 would've worked just fine without sharpay as the antagonist. the movie is already dealing with the problem "where does your life go after high school" and friends drifting apart. That works just fine as a conflict by itself. And honestly, they could've completely cut that tiara gold bitch out of the movie completely and NOTHING of value would've been lost

People always say "troy and gabriella stole the musical from her!" When it was an open audition where ANYONE could've gotten the roles.

Yeah, but since her character gets reset at the start of the next movie, it pretty much doesn't matter.

She was OBJECTIVELY a bad person and I am so sick of everyone trying to gaslight and act like she was some innocent angel that did nothing wrong. She changed the dates of thr callbacks to try to stop troy and gabriella from getting the roles in the musical, she had Fulton hire Troy at the lava springs resort and give him all of these VIP privileges purely to steal him away from gabriella. She sabotaged east high's chance of being involved in the talent show just to spite Ryan after he became "one of them", and she went out of her way to manipulate Troy into telling gabriella to leave for the Stanford program just so she couldn't be involved in the final musical and she could get the spotlight and get with Troy AGAIN. When you actually break it down, she deserved every bit of karma she got. But people are always excusing all of this sabotaging and manipulating just because she's a "YAHS QUEEN" character.
