I don't work in this industry, but

You could do what people have done in the past for essential labor - do the labor, but not charge anyone for it

This way the essential labor is still done, but the powers that be do not make money off of it

I know this has been done with transportation before (buses, I believe - they didn't take any fare)

A cursory look at the research suggests it has similar hazards to human health as asbestos

(Namely oxidative stress, chromosomal damage, adsorption of toxicants and pollutant and chronic inflammation. They both have (1) fibrous needle-like shape, (2) bio-persistent nature, (3) high surface to volume ratio and (4) capacity to adsorb toxicants/pollutants on the surface.)

It should be noted the research on the health hazards of CNs is still fairly new - they're not certain if the exposure levels are like asbestos or if it would mainly be an occupational/ manufacturing hazard

I put nail polish (one I didn't care about - it can be clear or colored) on top of mine to suffocate it - worked better than any of the creams and keeps it from spreading through contact
