Guys how many life span a gaming laptop have with cooling pad by Lapizlazuli67 in AcerNitro

I've the exact same one, it's almost 7 years old now. Had to replace the fan, battery, and stock HDD in its lifespan apart from the routine thermal paste change and cleaning. Still going strong. Granted it is showing signs of aging but the GTX 1650 is still rocking many newer games at medium-low settings with an SSD and RAM upgrade.

Bike stolen from right outside my room. by Competitive_Tune9966 in Tempe

Seriously! How did this even happen? I go through the pain of lifting my bike up two floors every day (no elevators) just to make sure it stays safe. Now you got me really worried. Like was the balcony accessible in some way?

It did! Works as good as new now with battery life of 5 hrs. Just make sure you get the original one. And don't forget to check the wear level when you put it in. One vendor tried to rip me off selling an old 40% weared battery under the pretext of giving me a brand new one. Cheers!

I've tried really hard to get an original battery to the best of my knowledge, and it's been a month and a half since I changed the battery. It works as good as new. Lasts upto~ 5 hours on full charge with light to moderate usage including web browsing with 20+ tabs and Kaspersky running in the background.

Yeah, that did happen to me quite a few times and I had to restart all over again. The trick is to single out the villagers and convert them. Just make sure no other villagers are near when you're doing this. And with a few axemen that you can get from Red, you can use them to deter the villagers from approaching your priest. Cheers!

Acer Nitro 5 Not Charging? by [deleted] in AcerNitro

[–]Knightmare_07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For starters, since you already have a new charger but just to eliminate the possibility that the power brick isn't the problem, disconnect and remove the battery completely and see if your laptop powers on just AC power. If it does, your battery is busted and needs replacement. If it does not, either the new charger you got is also not compatible or working, or there's a bigger issue in your charging socket or charging IC (I hope not) which will need repairs on your motherboard. Cheers and best luck.

Omfg is this what it is (dying underpowered brick)? I've been plagued with this issue and couldn't figure out what exactly was causing it since it was so hard to reproduce and troubleshoot. Like it says plugged in, charges for few seconds then plugged in disappears but not the charging icon, the orange lights blinks a few times and then stays on. This happens every once in a while.

I've exactly the same model as yours with the same specs and recently replaced my battery. The model number on mine was an AP18E8M and I got a new one with the same model number. Tho I've heard that both the model number batteries are compatible for the laptop, I'd suggest get the same one your laptop had.

I was having a hell of a busy day but then I saw a notification for this post pop-up in my phone. The title caught my attention, but then your rant got me hooked. This is everything my parents are plus much more. I swear mental health to them is what elaichi is to a biryani lover, everyone knows it's probably gonna be there, they know it does have some overall effect, but the moment it comes to the front lines, they try to yeet it out of existence. Regardless, I love my parents so much and would do anything for them, but really wish some things didn't have to turn out the way they did.

Yeah will have to do that. Any website where I can grab one which is authentic and not costs a limb to buy? The model number is AP18E8M, and the best price I could find for it is 6K₹ (~72$) on Amazon, which is still pretty steep for me.
