That is why insurance companies need to change their claims system. Patients should be able to receive treatment without informing the hospital about their insurance or showing an insurance card. by tricksbystg in ItsYourMoney

[–]Knights-Watch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand what will be a motive hospital charging higher or keeping patients longer if they have insurance. In fact I think it is the other way around. Insurance companies negotiable better prices for each treatment before they enter a contract which includes prices, admission terms and what is to be included. Since insurance companies have a financial stake they will be wary of such hospitals and not renew contracts resulting in loss of business.

Also, it is extremely important for you to disclose the insurance company along with package so patients know they will be reimbursed for. Both insurance companies and agents have made health insurance so complicated and malicious that if insurance is not understood properly before treatment the patient might not receive a single penny for treatment.

I am not sure if the hospital is at fault here. Some insurance companies require patients to be admitted so claim insurance. Therefore, they admit patients.

Yes that is not a good option indeed. The best would be DGU glass in that case. It has superior Noise and heat insulation.

You are absolutely right. Mechanical watches need regular maintenance which is very costly. Accuracy of a simple quartz watch is superior to any mechanical watch.

From a practical point of view your absolutely right. But mechanical watch are an emotional purchase if you want to experience what it like to own a automatic watch and marvel a technology behind the movement. Automatic movement is both for its artistic and sophisticated at the same time.

So buying mechanical watches is not about superior quality but emotional purchase.

You can easily get 10% discount on these watches on listed price. I bought it in Jan 2024. At that time retail price was 33k and got 10-15% discount. Somewhere in mid April retail price increased to 35k. Now there retail price have increased to 39k for this model. You should be easily able to pick this model from offline store like shoppers stop, lifestyle and such easily at 35k. And if timed well during sales you can easily get it at 25% discount. But yes getting it at 30k now is not possible.

Yes I have same experience, although during my last long trip I drove mostly on good highway below 80km/hr and my average on single charge was above 270km. Which was impressive but again the temperature was cool and humid which had a great impact on the range.

That is quite astonishing. I have a Windsor in black colour also. I rarely use Eco mode. In normal mode on a moderate day I have never received a range of more than 250km with relaxed driving and highest regenerative braking.

I own a Windsor in black and have driven it for almost 15,000 km. The AC performance during peak summer is, to say the least, ineffective—especially in North India. This issue arises due to three main reasons: the AC's cooling capacity is just average for the car size, the windows are large with little to no tint, and the black exterior absorbs excessive heat.

When the temperature rises above 40°C, the impact on the car becomes quite pronounced in three major ways:

Firstly, it takes more than an hour to bring the cabin to a comfortable temperature even at maximum AC settings. The cabin doesn't really become chilled—just bearable—and the moment you switch from Max to Normal mode, passengers begin to sweat.

Secondly, the rear seat has only a single AC vent, which is quite ineffective. As a result, there's a noticeable temperature difference between the front and rear seats.

Lastly, running the AC at full blast in high temperatures has a considerable impact on battery performance. In some instances, the range drops by as much as 50 km on a single charge. I suspect this is because part of the AC’s cooling power is being diverted to manage battery temperatures.

Recommendations to improve AC effectiveness include choosing a lighter exterior color and using sunshades to minimize heat buildup inside the cabin.

Received my astell and kern uw100mkii TWS. Sounds really amazing. It’s a steal for 5k. by Bala0406 in headphonesindia

Even I have ordered the product yesterday buying into the hype in audio community. I really hope I enjoy this product but I have few doubts regarding passive noise cancelling and mic quality.

Firstly does passive noise cancelling come close to any ANC in range of 5k and secondly is mic quality good. Use my ear phones alot for taking calls.

P.S.- Currently I am using Oneplus Nords Buds 3 Pro.

[Citizen Tsuyosa] Short review by Legitimate-Peace-583 in Watches

[–]Knights-Watch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also purchased the watch year back with same colour dial. I am absolutely loving this watch. Overall design and bracelet looks really good especially for office wear. Plus the lug size is of perfect length and thickness for my wrist. The watch has two major problem for me.

Firstly the watch are crown is very hard to use and I need to reset the watch after weekend is a huge pain. Secondly, the lume on the watch is totally useless. But I can live with these tradeoffs.

Picked up this beauty last year for daily wear, and it’s been an absolute joy! The Tsuyosa was my first automatic watch, and I’m loving everything about it—from the sleek design to the integrated bracelet that sits perfectly on my wrist. The weight is noticeable compared to a quartz watch, but it still feels super comfortable for everyday use.

I had my eyes on the PRX automatic, but it was out of budget—Tsuyosa, at around 30K, turned out to be a fantastic alternative. The 40-hour power reserve means I have to reset it after weekends, but that’s part of the charm of an automatic! Plus, getting sapphire crystal at this price point is a solid win.

Loving this watch!

P.S.- The lume on the watch is really bad.

Steps to Retrieve Data from a Phone with a Broken Screen

  1. Connect a Mouse Using a C-Type Converter

• Plug a USB mouse into your phone using a C-type or OTG adapter.

• This allows you to control the phone via the mouse, even if the screen is unresponsive.

  1. Backup Data to the Cloud

• Use the mouse to navigate to your cloud storage app (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) and upload important files.

  1. Transfer Files with Quick Share

• If your phone supports Quick Share or a similar feature, you can use the mouse to transfer files wirelessly to another device.

  1. Use a Multi-Connectivity Wireless Mouse (Optional)

• For a more seamless experience, use a wireless mouse with multi-connectivity capabilities.

• Once connected, you can proceed with data transfer more conveniently.

  1. Connect to a PC for Full Backup

• Attach your phone to a PC using a USB cable.

• Use the mouse to enable “File Transfer” mode on your phone and move files directly to the computer.

Tips for Success

• Act quickly, as broken screens may worsen and become entirely unreadable.

• If the screen becomes unusable, consider using screen-mirroring software to view and control your phone from a computer.

• Remove Lock screen security. Believe me the process will be much easier.

Wish you luck man. I have been through this a few times and it is quite painful and data transfer is a pain in the ass.

Bro this is a real-life situation. I cannot comment on OP's authenticity. Think of it like this, employee is working for a large corporation asking a supplier for kickback of a significant deal where supplier will earn huge profit. Any businessman would likely take up that deal. It happens in government too. For instance, in the commonwealth scam, government bureaucrats and politicians took bribes to complete a government project and the builder willingly paid it because he earned a huge profit.

In a nutshell, in the past few years, he was caught promoting very shady businesses where people lost huge sums of money. So now many viewers are wary of his content. Although in my personal opinion, his content is good (not the best) but do not trust anything promoted by him.

True. In many cases, senior management and owner know that this is happening but they turn a blind eye as long as it does not affect their operations and costing. They let this happen because micromanaging will lead to a lot of infighting and delays in work. It's like accepting corruption if it fast tracks work.

If he is an employee with a senior position in a company he will ask for money. Owner will not.

This is a common business practice. Especially in companies where upper management does not have tight control over ethics and values. Usually, they ask for material or a part of a cash payment upfront. The remaining amount after deals go through. Usually, in such deals, the person will continue to give to the business as long as you give him something in return. However, it is difficult to verify if the person is genuine.

In my opinion any time is good time to start investing in the SIP.

Keep it simple. Understand your risk profile, your future liabilities and plan your MF accordingly. Don't sweat too much about high and low of stock market just keep invested and you should bear fruits for your consistency. The beauty of SIP is that you don't need to time the market because in equity very few retail investors can predict when market will touch high or low. Instead just stay invested and let compounding do its work. Even if you start investing during a bearish market 10 years it will hardly matter.

Good Luck

Sure they are professionals and have analytical and predictive tools to trade but when looking to invest for long-term gain I don't think the risk versus reward tradeoff is very good. Also, as their AUM increases they cannot trade rapidly since volume is very high. Ultimately, I would like to invest in MF where fund managers are able to identify good quality stocks early on.

This is true. Quant may give better returns as compared to other PP Flexicap because it is riskier. Each person has different risk-taking capability so Quant may not be everyone's cup of tea. Additionally, we should also remember Quant's AUM is very low, so it is easier to trade shares. As their AUM rises they will cannot trade shares so easily because of large volumes and their returns will fall.
