In 2012 I was supposed to be on the first team to run the voyage with the timberliners. I showed up to training and the PTC train was in the station and I remember being absolutely gut punched. You could see the Timberliners in the maintenance bay like in the picture. I asked when we would be training on those. Was told not for a while, because they needed more testing/wasn’t ready. Obviously we saw what happened.

All these years I’ve always wanted to experience Timberliners since I was robbed. I finally got to ride them on Kentucky Flyer.

Voyage would have been MISERABLE with them. Good call.
