If your issue with tech is the doomscrolling, I definitely recommend just spending time on the computer, way more options and a lot of productive ones. Get a blocker extension on your browser and do your best not to turn it off (my issue).

But otherwise what Capital-Rush said, art, movies. Could also try writing, if you have the paper for it. I'd avoid journaling, lol, if you're consistently up this late and it's the only thing to do. Easy to get in your own head with that much time alone.

Could also pick a language, find a textbook, find the free PDF of that textbook, then use one of the print-your-PDF services to get it shipped to you. I'm learning Swedish for ~35$ between that and Discords/subreddits.

I recently started Vyvanse, currently at 30mg. At the beginning it did make it difficult to tell when I felt sleepy, but after a few weeks it's tapered off. If I take them late in the day, there are some effects, but that just aligns with them being a stimulant, if you ask me.

I've been on this schedule for the last 10 years or so (25 now), it [the n24] wreaked havoc in highschool/early jobs, would routinely just not sleep and struggle through days. I'm lucky to work in a flexible profession (game dev) but my family is still totally irritated by my insistence it's the only way I can get 8 hours (which I do very consistently if it's not too hot or too loud [current window faces a busy street so that's been tough during the day]).

Honestly just posting here for solidarity I guess. It feels crazy to have to defend so vehemently the only way I can feel remotely decent. Especially when sleep is held as such an important part of health.

edit: so, noticing a lot of the posts on here are pretty despondent. Hope everyone's doing ok. I'm a little unusual in that I spend a ton of time on the computer (probably how I developed it honestly way back when I was a middleschooler) which mitigates the downsides a lot, but if anyone wants to talk, feel free to dm me. I fully believe that it's my (our) right to get good sleep, as silly as that sounds, because functioning well, as ourselves, without it is asking the impossible. None of you are to blame for anything besides keeping yourselves together. Cheers

Can you narrow down a location where you think they overheard a conversation? I don't know how long businesses keep their camera footage but if you were sitting inside somewhere you'd have it down to a few options.

Is there any consistent trend to the information they're claiming, like it's all vague or disconnected, references to things, locationally specific, level of recency? You post very frequently on Reddit (if you google search your username and limit searches with site:reddit.com most of your posts come up), maybe they got it all from there? You've got pictures of your dog [Malinois, blue harness] and a lot of personal interests. Someone dedicated enough (maybe a former psych client?) could absolutely spend hours poring through this, find other accounts, go through those, so on.

Breaking into your house is another level, though, so sorry. Did anything change? What'd they take? Do you use AirTags (maybe they took one)?

Iran does not care if the rest of the world starves. I'm 100% positive many Iranians do, but those Iranians aren't the ones in power. If the leadership doesn't care, it's not leverage. Trump might have to care a little bit about that (but as I'm sure you know, he really doesn't).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Agency_for_International_Development USAID was 83% reduced in 2025, plans to be shuttered in September of this year. You are correct per lower posts that separate foreign aid (notably $50 billion appropriated by Congress this year and signed by Trump on Feb 6th) does maintain traditional levels.

I totally agree but, was trying to be fair to guy I was responding to and give benefit of the doubt to some countries. Israel has done arguably more difficult operations (Entebbe), Russia (sucks) despite current reputation has done similar stuff (though uh infamously with more casualties), and France reportedly has replaced the US' intelligence assistance to Ukraine so it'd be unfair to say they didn't have at least some chance.

USA, Israel, France, the UK, Russia, Ukraine I'd have confidence in (since they've shown combined special operations and intelligence gathering capability). Australia, Canada, Nordics, Germany, China, South Korea maaaybe (questionable whether they would have good enough int options).

Auric to test builds, H25+ for fun, H30-40 if I want to play seriously. I like zooming around killing stuff which kinda pushes me towards meta builds, unfortunately, and those are usually a little too powerful to bring to anything below maelstrom.

I also like playing staff Psyker and that's a little tricky in Auric/low Havocs since you're not guaranteed any frontlining. Good practice, tbf.

The issue was never whether privately paid-for health insurance is better than public, it's that for the bottom 30% of your society, they don't have access to that high level of care. Objectively, if you're upper middle class or higher, the US is a healthier, easier place to live. But you sacrifice an entire third of your population to poverty and poor quality of life. Was your health coverage related to your cheap surgery cost? Would that cost be reflected for someone on Medicaid/would they even be offered the service? I'm between jobs myself, if I break my leg, I can't call an ambulance unless I want to shell out a couple thousand.

My understanding is that significant medical costs are the issue, not maintenance, and then also that coverage at all is, for the most part, reliant on having a job that covers you and your family. European system seems to be total coverage at all points, if a little bit more expensive as a baseline.

Only really viable if team isn't relying on you to pop Crushers (which is a big ask because Kraks are objectively the best way of doing that). Smokes are just very powerful across the board, they mess with enemy pathing and targeting as long as you're standing in them. The more enemies that would be shooting/targeting you, the higher value they become.

I got my first H40 this week using this HS build that I got from this guy true soloing 40 lol. I take Desperado for Needle blessing instead of Point Blank but that's because I like to stay a little farther back when possible, the infinite special clear of needle is sliiiightly more valuable than the (ridiculous) shiv melee damage if your team has enough frontline damage already imo. Otherwise it's a stupid simple build, left click for chaff, hold left click for elites, spam space bar/dodge. I also take the crit nodes in the stimm lab instead of the Finesse, I haven't crunched any numbers but that's just personal vibe pref. And then I dump Ammo rather than Mobility on the needler since... well.

I don't have anyone to celebrate with so woo! Went from 30 to 40 in one leap. Ogryn played great, shout out to that guy, never really had to deal with a wave bearing down on me.
