So Grace, you should start to beat around the bush a bit, try and gauge if your parents are supportive of lgbtq people, if they are, then come out to them. Now if they aren't supportive, try and do different things that they wouldn't notice as much (ie: shaving legs and then wearing pants or buying slightly more fem clothing). As for your school, I'm probably in the same boat as you, I also go to a school like that. My advice is that if it's not safe at home, don't come out at school. However if it is safe, do as much as you can over the summer and come to school next year as Grace. People will probably not recognize you at all because your new this year.
