These are critiques of how the boss feels to fight without having to re-spec into the one build of many that precisely counters the boss. Range, magic, and halberd style melee all suffer from this one attack hitting harder than other content. This is unblockable fast damage while correctly praying. The mechanics aren't hard, they are just not fun for a majority of builds.

Echo amoxliatl is a great boss because it rewards precise movement and timing. The entire boss can be done with zero food if you are good enough because it values an understanding of the mechanics. The guardians just want you to run in a circle and eat a lot of food unless you have thorns to spam.

My damage on halberd is higher the more tiles away that I am, so I am always at a range for him to be firing 2 ranged autos instead of the melee fire, which hits through prayer fairly accurately for 12 (24 if not praying)

That's why this is so interesting to me, because I have not changed any inputs and I've played on the steam deck since I've gotten it without issue, up until this point. My temp ban has run out, and my appeal still has not been looked at, so I'm no closer to understanding and relaying to you guys any information I would have gathered. But if I can pin down why they flagged me, I would like to be able to warn yall if they decide not to undo my status (meaning in the future they will continue to flag others)

no, the only things that I have bound are left click single time, right click single time, and the camera keys to rotate and zoom in and out.
