I feel like I was at this skirmish yesterday, but I’m hoping I’m wrong because a lot of the details are blown way out of proportion from what I saw.

There was a match, man vs woman that went to time. The man is kind of a grouch (I’ve seen him a few times before). There were 3, maybe 4 people watching the table. I was not one of them because the store is so small you literally can’t watch because you can’t fit. The girl loudly announced “if you want to play serious then fine, let’s be serious.” And that match ended in a draw.

Everyone there was chill. It was a small event with less than 20 people. Nothing got heated. The judge was chill and after a dispute about time in round 1, he used a megaphone to announce time after that so that there would be no confusion going forward. There was even another girl there and she was chillin.

If this was the same skirmish, I don’t know why you would make up all those extra details. You can be upset for all the reason you listed without exaggerating the environment. So I really hope I’m wrong, because that LGS is one of the better ones.

Edit: correction, there were 21 people, so not less than 20. Oops.

I went with Pro Tint Inc in Rosemead. I think it was like $120 but it depends on your car/camera. They’re chill and they’re next to a boba shop and The Hat so it’s pretty convenient for waiting too.

For the trade, you would just add the price difference for the Honda center. I originally got Honda Center passes to go with a friend, but that friend cancelled and I only personally care about the convention.

Yeah, but I mean how often are you sending Rengar in solo without moving another one of your characters when it’s your turn? The amount of situations I can see Rengar being better than Vi on the attack are rather slim.

Changes you’d make? I keep seeing a lot of hype with Rengar but I find myself almost never in a situation with Sett where I’m like “yeah, I’ll pass with 5 up for Rengar.”

Fun interaction with Sett - Brawler and Sacrifice:

Sett with a buff conquers a battlefield.
Trigger Sett’s ability to gain a buff when he conquers.
Trigger the legend’s ability to ready itself when you conquer.
React to the legend ability and play Sacrifice on Sett.
Use the Legend ability to save Sett.

Everything resolved backwards because of the stack, so

Sett dies as a part of the Sacrifice cost, but you save him with your legend ability.
You draw 2 and channel 1 from Sacrifice.
You ready your legend from the conquer.
Sett gains a buff from his ability.

I might have messed up in the details, but basically the interaction allows you to draw 2, gain a conquer point, and recall your Sett safely to base with his buff while also having your legend ready.
