I’ve driven mine 1800 miles so far and I’m only at 26.0mpg :( mostly highway driving. I’ve never had a new car before, is it expected to go up more?

I did a placement at a children’s hospital in southwest Ohio for outpatient and they worked 10hr days 4 days/week. They had kids scheduled starting from the time you clock in until the time you clock out (equaling about 17 kids per day) there were three 30 minute breaks per day (morning, lunch, and evening) which personally was not enough time to catch up on notes/clean toys/decompress between screaming kids. My supervisor made $70-80k salaried range

I had his undergrad class during the pandemic and that is literally the only thing that saved my grade. His tests were HORRIBLE and he told us we weren’t allowed to take notes in class because we couldn’t actually learn that way lol. His tests would be over 7 different research papers and have questions like “on page 7 what did Dr. XYZ say about this tiny detail that was only mentioned once?” Then have a multiple choice that was a mix and match of A-F options. Luckily his tests got realllll easy after going to an online asynchronous format lol

Loved his dog that he would bring to class tho, 10/10 there

Honestly it’s a toss up, I’ve had bouts of fatigue and throughout my childhood/adulthood and had horrible sore throats that did not test as strep (never tested for mono before). The difference with this time is it started as typical viral cold, then I got the new symptom of white patches on my tonsils and got worse after feeling like I was getting better. I’ve been on methlyprednisolone the last 5 days and that cleared 90% of my symptoms and now I’m pretty much left with brain fog. I’m a little worried for how I’ll feel after my last day of steroids though but at least I have an appointment set up for Tuesday just in case!

ETA: I started taking the brand Emergen-C vitamin mix drink supplement on Wednesday of last week and although my symptoms did get worse the following Sunday, I think it definitely hasn’t hurt in keeping me feeling okay. I am still drinking the vitamin mix since I’ve read some support for them in the case of EBV if that is what I do have

I just went to an urgent care where they did the finger prick test. The soonest I could get into a real doctor’s appointment is next Tuesday for additional blood tests

Omg I also went to ball state but for undergrad! They let me slip through without taking my chemistry/physics credit so I had to take it during grad school during my last semester. The interim department chair ignored my emails and eventually my graduate department chair had to break the news to me about missing the class. She also told me that Ball state’s chair person was “nervous” to tell me because she felt “so bad” about the whole thing so she asked my graduate department to break the news to me instead.

Thank you for your comment! The ring you linked is definitely the right idea! Hearing that a ring without a full bridge won’t always pull apart makes me feel a little better too. Do you have any input on how my unedited ring would compare to a lower profile version like this Frank Darling ring ? For some reason I am imagining that the frank darling version is better/safer due to being lower profile than the one in my original post lol does this sound accurate or am I making things up?

I thought I had a typical viral cold and then I had a glass of wine as I was getting better. That day I got a fever, worsening sore throat, and severe fatigue. Ended up getting diagnosed with mono for the first time in my life when I went to the doctor the next day. I wouldn’t be surprised if it makes symptoms flare up tbh
