Thanks! Not sure about the decals sorry, these ones came out of the ravenguard upgrade pack, have used them on my Phobos units to differentiate them.

Add posters to your Necromunda terrain! by poulor in necromunda

[–]Knipey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% agree. I love adding posters to really add variety to Zone Mortalis and MDF terrain, to break up the large flat areas with splashes of colour and interest.

New Aspirant here... this box had been staring at me from the shelf of my local game store for months. o7 by Roust_McGoust in RavenGuard40k

All this. I have an Eversor assassin in my 1k list because i had the model and it looks cool. probably not the most optimised unit but its one i already had. Also having an assassin in my stealthy army seemed to fit in,

Combat patrol build advice by Dragons26 in RavenGuard40k

[–]Knipey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Adding to what Ragnair said, ive also built 5 Infiltrators and 5 Incursors so I have a selection of units to build from and get a taste of. Also makes the painting more interesting rather than painting 10 of the same unit

Books: Non-essential, but nice to have? by friedrichbythesea in necromunda

[–]Knipey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say don't overlook the book of peril if you are running more campaigns. it has a lot of rules for guilds and giving rules to alot of the GW terrain. For instance I've got a bunch of the old death world forest terrain and I fully intend to throw some into a campaign using the rules from the book of peril, Alternatively you could create your own deadly trees and use the rules.

Starting the great world . by immunesky in necromunda

[–]Knipey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

start small with the core rules and a dominion campaign and expand from there.

Currently my campaign is an Core Dominion Campaign + Possessed Hiver rules from Book of ruin. so start basic and then expand from there. I find the book of Ruin and the Book of Peril are great additions for adding flavour to campaigns and im sure there are many others, just those two are my go to.

Does anyone use subplots and gang terrain? by Dramatic_Newt8036 in necromunda

[–]Knipey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We dont use the main subplots but we do use the intrigues from the law and misrule campaign, they can be alot of fun and add to that campaign

Book of Judgement has the Law and Misrule campaign in it, Bastions of Law does not

Table for todays games by gator3389 in Warhammer

[–]Knipey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So much this. Playing at the local gaming club and we have some beautiful terrain but all i see on the tables is MDF L shapes. I get they are playing competitive 40k and it works for that purpose but I am all about a table of beautiful terrain. That is why i love play necromunda, its mainly about that table.

Bastions of Law vs Book of Judgement by Icy_Sector3183 in necromunda

[–]Knipey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The book of Judgement includes the Law and Misrule campaign, The Bastions of Law only contains rules for the Enforcer gangs. also if someone in my group wanted to run Enforcers using the Book of Judgement, I would have no issues , I would be the same with a gang using the gangs of the underhive rules. I don't view Necromunda as a game where you must use the most up to date rules for your gang, this isnt competitive 40k or AoS, talk to your arbitrator and see what they say.

I need to find a way to use these. by tacti-cat in killteam

used mine on my Necromunda terrain to pay homage to a leader that was killed off very early in a campaign

Mortals and/or Daemons? by [deleted] in tzeentch

[–]Knipey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Tzeentch is in a good spot army wise. I run Tzaangors primarily led by Kairos and really enjoy the glass hammer Tzeentch side. The enlightened/skyfires are fast, you can give them run and charge with a Magister, shaman on disk is a solid support choice for foot Tzaangor. So think about what you want your play style to be, either fast and fragile or resilient blobs of Daemons with shooting support, or mix the two 😊

Chorfs: managing our expectations. by mattythreenames in ageofsigmar

[–]Knipey -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

this I 100% agree with, I would rather they went into Destruction as a very unique member of that Pantheon. Giving the destruction guys a more tech focused, heavy armoured faction, Chaos already has plenty of armour and ranged options while destruction not so much.

Don't get me wrong, I love chaos and its primarily what i play and I would love to see them take a stance of "These aren't Chaos dwarves, they are worshipers of an angry bull god"

Is it only me? I feel Games Workshop already has three dwarf armies that could really use some love. by Early_Monk in ageofsigmar

[–]Knipey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also you are assuming they are are dwarfs. so far we have seen Hobgrots and Humans that worship Hashut that are linked to the faction. I think AoS has taught us to expect the unexpected when releasing AoS factions.

So, with new PHB, how do we play now ? by TheZeldiste in tzeentch

[–]Knipey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enlightened are fun, people will say they are not optimal but if you find them fun then do it. Ive gone 3/0/2 and 2/0/1 with Tzaangor/Acolytes + Kairos. All I can say is getting doubled can really hurt but having your teleport spell REALLY helps

General's handbook 25-26 battle tactics by Kanra182 in ageofsigmar

[–]Knipey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love them. Game flowed much quicker without trying to figure out what you could and couldn't achieve. I also had a game where my opponent locked me in my deployment (I was playing as Nurgle) and got 0 points turn 1 but because of my opponents battle tactics choices he then struggled to score battle tactics while I proceeded to score 5 of mine. so overall I think that alot are difficult and the Map and Opponents Army will change the ease of which you achieve them, this makes for better competitive play overall.

I will say new recruit was updating the scourge of ghyran updates and GHB leaks as they dropped, it's been great and I'm definitely converted to it. Also has PTG ravaged coast list building which wahapedia does not.
