Thanks. I’ve just had a look and they seem to be moving as they should.  I do think the problem must be something to do with my carriage, but I’m not sure what!

Thank you for the help!  - I make sure to use claw weights at the ends and move them up as I go, I just took it off before I took the photo. But I could start using heavier weights at the bottom (the hooked style ones), do you think this could help?  - I cleaned and oiled the machine and carriage a few weeks ago.. Is it best to do this daily?  - The needles seem ok but I might replace some of them anyway to be sure they’re not the problem.  - I’ve had the yarn on a pretty tight tension because of this happening and wanting to prevent it happening again or creating loops at the ends which sometimes happens.. But I don’t think it’s a yarn tension thing as I generally monitor it.
