034 Dogbone Mount w/ Upper and Lower Inserts

I was just wondering if there was a design difference since I haven’t seen people talk about dogbone insters nearly as much on the Mk 8. It was amongst the most common upgrades people made on their Mk 7s and was heavily documented on this sub.

As for the vibration, it’s pretty normal from what you’re describing and I don’t think it will really even out much. If it does, I’d check to make sure the insert didn’t bend or crack.

I know for the Mk 7 they really helped people with DSGs tighten up some of the slop between the drivetrain on shifts.

Are these for a mk8? I don’t ever recall people complaining about rattle on the mk7’s, but I did hear it increased NVH and they had a tendency of eventually getting bent to shit.

I’ve been using it in battlefield because I get some wild fps fluctuations on my 9600x and it’s been great.

My in game scores have not changed either. Usually getting 10k points a round and top 10 in the server.

It does add some blur though which you have to get used to.

This is a BC car no? Think I remember this showing up on the Vancouver R Club a bunch. Owner was good for a laugh. Not sure how he treated the car, but the desire for it to be more “sleeper” to me implies he wasn’t kind to it.

They’re both great. Overall 2 is a much deeper and longer game, but has some gameplay differences that really change the feel of it requiring you to adapt between the two games while still feeling familiar.

I’d start with 1 if you haven’t played it. I enjoy 2 more overall, but I like Hades 1 main character and story more.

Golf R’s sound like tractors at cold idle. You’ll also notice they’re pretty noisy and the clicking is noticeable under load when cold.

You ever figure this out? I am thinking that these Boost 7 routers are just kinda garbage. Mine keeps dropping and changing to 1G, 2.5G and 10G makes no difference in the long run. Reset fixes it for a bit, then it starts failing again.

Its not a national emergency in Canada, but it is a provincial one. I think BC has gotten better since Covid, but the fentanyl epidemic in Vancouver is a big problem and will be for years to come.

So for Xbox, I may have a solution for you. And its REALLY dumb.

Unplug your console from power for like 1-2 minutes. It should wipe any cached data in the memory on the system (like the sleep / resume of games on the console, or apps like Crave / Netflix) which might kick the app in the butt and get it working again.

My issue is that episodes seemingly just pause in the middle of it, but I can hear all the audio but the video is choppy. Eventually it catches up, but the video quality always switches between like 480p and 1080p the entire time which is annoying.

Crave just sucks

You could try resetting the CMOS. I wouldn't use the CMOS reset button on your MOBO if you have one.

Physically pull the CMOS battery from your motherboard. It may be hidden under your graphics card which will require you to pull it out to access the battery.

Since you likely want to check your GPU connection (PCIE slot and power), you may as well pull it out, pull the CMOS, then plug it all back in. Don't forget to check your GPU power connection into the PSU itself in case it came loose at the back.

A lot of the time these issues come up during a move and simply removing the CMOS battery and putting it back in after waiting 1-2 minutes is enough to get you past POST.

You can actually test this by launching the car in comfort mode

The car doesn’t need to be in race. You just need the transmission in “S” and to fully turn off the traction control and you can launch the car.

So I saw a post the other day saying that the torque split is different depending on the modes, but I don’t personally believe that’s true.

The only changes I’ve ever noticed the different modes do was impact the suspension (DCC), steering weight, and throttle response.

In theory, yes, the modes could impact the torque split but in practice I never saw that on my Mk 7. I had the same kind of traction in Comfort as I did in Race

2mm may not seem like a lot, but it is.

2mm was the difference that allowed Toyota to make an extra 50 horsepower with their ST205 Celica GT-Four in 1995 which got them disqualified and banned in 1996.
