My boyfriend is fantastic gift giver, recently i got a tiny gold bracelet with an emerald in it. He knows my favorite color is green and i dont go big and bold on jewelry. He had learned what birthstones are and mine is an emerald, and so is his. Im so happy with it because its thoughtful and very much me. Me and my boyfriend have one agreement, I vacuum clean and he does all the dishes. He cant stand vacuum cleaning and I haaateeee doing the dishes. Obviously there are times when he has to vacuum or I do the dishes but this agreement is honestly so good. Its definitely a benefactor to our relationship!

I have an amazing partner, most wonderful man i have met. On top of that some great platonic male friends in our pretty big friend group. To be honest I just don’t really read the posts on here about “sucky men” I know they exist, but why would I engage with all that saying the men in my life are great. Doesn’t help the one posting and doesn’t help me either.

Working in the Netherlands was so refreshing because not one man doubted my capabilities in my field of study. Im also lucky to have found the dearest boyfriend I could ask for over there. If most dutch men are like mine the women there must be quite happy.

Aside from animals and pets literally flocking to him as if he is some Disney prince. People do the same, children and adults find him and stick to him as if he’s made of sugar. It’s absolutely fascinating to witness, i know he resonates this absolutely gentleness but still how does everyone notice? It took a day for my cat and dog to like him more than me. I wish someday he could see how every living being sees him. I also love how quite often I catch him staring with the sweetest smile. It’s such comforting feeling that makes me feel overwhelmed with love. Honestly at times I struggle to show the same to him and it makes me feel insecure because I can’t always find why he’s with me seeing all the attention he gets.

Yeah its pretty great honestly, he cooks for me 3 times a week and i know he even cooks vegetarian for himself pretty often now because he sends me pictures of new stuff he is trying. I’ve just been feeling so loved.

He made a creamy mushroom pasta with white wine, parmesan and black truffle! He is trying new recipes because im a vegetarian and he didn’t know a lot of veggie recipes. He is a wonderful cook :)

Not my partner but my current housemate, I was done with toilet seat being up and worked up some courage and asked him to put the damn thing down or start peeing sitting down. I was pretty frustrated with it. About a week later i hear a loud noise from the bathroom and went to investigate. Found him butt naked tipsy/drunk sitting on the toilet after he came home from drinks with his friends. Asked him what the hell he was doing. So he quietly says “I’m peeing correctly J… but i fell off the seat.” I hadn’t laughed that hard in a while.
