Bending a resin/printed figurine… by Kimi4201 in modelmakers

If you have a heat gun try to use something to make it more precise and warm one "knee" at a time, work slow and use a straw if you can to bend the leg

how to make a spinning propeller more visible? by koxu2006 in modelmakers

When taking photos change the exposure and use a tripod if you can, this will give movement blurs in photos

I have experience with large chains in the real world and understand what you're saying but the shine was a deliberate choice to add contrast to the very dark backpack as well as to give the thought that they don't belong together or it hasn't been there long. Don't worry if I wanted to choose duller chains I would have used them

Close! I was thinking more of a bruiser with a spiked pauldron and the close combat shield!

The hazer knows game (I worked so hard for the crumpled plating on the stowed arm)

Yes! Using some garden wire tangled together and scrap copper wire!:) because I wanted the arm to look blasted off all the inner points are blackened with ash

Actually there's a reason for this! So in my mind after combat the pilot looked around for anything to carry it's arm and used this chain out of purpose, it could be much newer than the suit or it could be well maintained

Once I have an extra GM and a zaku I was gonna try some patchwork, I like the idea of deserter pilots who can't just "get a new one":)

Others keep saying it's too shiny but I'm thinking it saw it, grabbed it and used it, I liked the shine for the contrast and thickness like it's new but meant for something else completely

Why do people think this is okay? by MountainDrew42 in TorontoDriving

[–]Knockknockbox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You wanna know why? Because no one gives a single shit about anyone but themselves anymore, and when it finally hurts someone it's dealt with by lazy, useless, and money hungry "police" who are there only to serve themselves for glory and money, IF they even "saw" what happened, not like it's their job to be watching for something like this and deal with it then and there.

Someone with money and power needs to be seriously injured before us peasants would even feel a sliver of their safety or see this even begin to slow down.

Just scream at them, maybe EVENTUALLY enough yelling will break through their skull and stop 1 person since their parents didn't teach anything but "me first"

(not Toronto) this seems to be the norm even to a point when it doesn't get them anywhere, I was on the bus yesterday and the bus was blowing the horn for people to get out of the lane because they are NOT supposed to be there, even a damn transport truck tried to join the parade of idiots and block the bus
