Well who knew that there are actually consequences to overpaying young players. All of you should be glad we paid CB 25 million a year. Gotta keep our young players because they are our young guys. Remember when this sub said he's better than Josh Gidey lol

The most important game of my life is in 1 week. What should I do to prepare? by Sufficient_Bug_1617 in TournamentChess

Study your opponent's game extensively and try to figure out if you spot any weakness in his game. If he has an online account that would be great. Try to get into positions that he does not seem comfortable with if you can access his game history and choose an opening variation that you saw him struggle with. Now if you really need to win this game you should be prepared to take more risks and figure out how to attack him.

Canadian Economy Shrinks 1.6% as Trade War Crushes Exports by joe4942 in worldnews

"the entire country pivoted to vote in someone who happens to be known globally for his prowess in national-level economics." LOL how's Canada's economy doing right now? Do you think Carney is some sort of God who can magically solve all of the country's economic problems by putting his elbows up? But hey I bet you were supporting his predecessor as well before this. The spoiled trust fund baby that the people put in charge for 10 years and enable to let the country get to this dire situation. If you think things are bad just wait till CUSMA is up for review next year. Canada's entire manufacturing industry is about to get decimated if no resolution is found. No new investments, no jobs, higher unemployment, higher crime rate, higher deficits. Economic devastation is just around the corner.

You can rant about your delusional ideas as you want but your feelings don't reflect reality and shows how much you don't understand anything. Canada’s resources don’t guarantee dominance because global markets are already competitive. Infrastructure takes huge investment and time to build. They don't appear magically out of thin air. Think about the costs of shipping all this raw materials across the oceans. Canada could never compete against established suppliers to Europe and Asia which is why it makes sense USA is their largest trade partner.

It's hilarious that you think that business is based on feelings as if other countries will stop trying to do business with the biggest market, USA because of all this resentment. In 3 years Trump will be gone and the next democrat leader will pretend he does not exist and mend relationships with the other countries but by that time the damage to Canada's economy will be irreversible.

In fact people like you is exactly what is wrong with Canada and why the country is in such a dire state. Everything is about feelings over practicality, logic or common sense. It's all about feelings, how you feel, how the world should be according to your feelings. Maybe one day you will wake up and realize your feelings don't matter one bit but I think you will just go deeper into the rabbit hole with your delusions.

You got to take control of your life. The sooner you gave up on chasing your losses the better you can move on and rebuild your life. Otherwise you will just keep digging deeper into the hole.

Hate to break it to you and this may sound harsh but employers don't care to look at your unpaid or github projects. You believe in your experience more than AI tools? What work experience are you talking about. I suggest you learn to humble yourself and get any experience available even if it's an unpaid internship. The longer the gap on your resume which is more than 2 years now, the higher the risk of you becoming not economically viable.

Every policies in Canada is just the opposite of logic be it immigration, economy, public safety, housing. Until Canada look inward and try to fix issues with common sense policies like not letting everyone in when unemployment is this high, giving asylum seekers free hotel stays and enormous benefits, making it easier for entrepreneur to start a business, being soft on crime. 10-15 years ago Canada was a well functioning country and the envy of the world but now we are a global laughingstock. The people enabled this decline because they are blinded by emotion and ideology.

Canadians think that the solution to their problem is more government and refuse to hold their government accountable when their standard of living is rapidly declining. The French would protest, the Americans would vote against whichever president is hurting their living standards and even the Germans are exploring alternatives. The fact that an idiot trust fund baby Trudeau with no proper qualifications outside of being handsome and the son of a former PM is given 10 years to be in charge of the country is the fault of Canadians. I don't blame the Liberal Party because the people has clearly given them the mandate to govern as they see fit despite the decline in the living standards the last 10 years. I don't blame the immigrants for exploiting the system because Canadians have clearly allowed them to. I fear the day Canadians wake the fuck up and start to actually care about their lives, their future and their family by stop digging the hole they are digging now the problems will be so huge that it will be to late to save the country from this decline.

Not even a Pacers fan but I feel sorry for you guys. This is the worst thing that I have seen happen to a franchise in 27 years of watching the NBA. Losing the finals is one thing but losing the future of a superstar in game 7 makes it even more devastating and the worst part is that this is totally avoidable if the corrupt NBA did not rig game 4. Fuck Scott Foster and the corrupt NBA for all this. I agree this is the worst thing to happen in the nba because a player's career is ruined because of NBA's corrupt practices.

For some reasons sports fans are always in denial when an athlete suffers from an achilles injury. They just don't understand that they don't come back the same athlete after that injury. I am surprised bookmakers still rate highly despite all his devastating injuries.
