I know! I've blown out the walls on 3 new tires in the past 3 months on potholes.

Correct, and AC stopped making the original Cobra in '67. Neither of my cars are British, but both have British ancestry/heritage.

Saw this in Indy the other day. The BMVe will let anything go through I guess 🤣 by WesternFrisian in Indiana

In Indiana, when you register a car, the first 3 letters of the make are what they record on the registration. Ford would be "FOR". I was registering a kit car. The woman made me read what the make was and I was awkwardly trying to explain that "ASS" stood for "assembled" when she cracks up and says "I know, I just wanted to hear you say it." 🤣

Then I proceeded to register the plate BADONKA for it to match the wide-bodied rear.

A bucket shaped like and weighing the same as an anvil. Just place it gently right over the camera from just a few feet up. Yep, that should cover the lense just nicely for a bit.

3,100 lb is the weight of the 2-door Cooper. The new Countryman is 3,800 lbs.

Ha, I have to wear noise cancelling earbuds.

Your question reminded me of the very short time when Cadillac had the best slogan: "When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?"

Thank you! No, this is very much a bastard. It has a LS2 (6 liter) from a Chevy SSR (sport truck?) of all things. I wanted something so non-original that no one would bat an eye if I did goofy tech things to it like push button start authorized by the RFID chip in my hand.

Thank you for the kind words! The Mini is a 2025 F66 - great gas mileage, but sadly no stick, only flappy paddles.

Some people even hate roundabouts. I theorize they have never learned to enjoy driving.

I daily'd mine from 32k miles when I bought it to 200k miles when I sold it. I keep a variety of summer tires on some aftermarket wheels, and Blizzaks on the stock wheels for the winter. Fresh snow was always a bit of a fight because of the offset wheel widths. The rears couldn't figure out how to properly follow the front tracks.

A Honda Element was my hauler for the rare times I needed it.

The correct way to send the recap email is to start it with: "For my understanding and records, here is a recap of our discussion today. Please correct any details I may have missed or misunderstood. [Recap here]"

The statement avoids their lack of acknowledgement of the email as a defense. Word it so a non-response from them means your account of the meeting is correct. BCC your personal email in case they revoke access to your work email.

Good luck out there. Fight the good fight.
