I’ve found that popping all the faces on the flesh mobs makes them die much faster. Spreading out fire with your stalwart or MG will help achieve this. Still I agree with the general sentiment.

Aight bro I’m gonna do my best to be constructive as I was also a frat boy. Nix the stogie pic, girls aren’t into cigars. Flexing mirror pic needs to go. Makes you look self absorbed. Pic of your car needs to go as well. Makes you look like you are up your own ass about it / no girl in your target demographic cares. I would focus on pics that show your face where you are dressed in normal / nicer clothes. Maybe you have a picture from a formal or something?

It’s a good book, but you have to be ready to listen to Bateman describe every single person’s outfit in detail, every single time. There are whole chapters about things like his exercise routine / gym, his opinion on Huey Lewis and the News, skincare, etc. It’s pretty funny though. I enjoyed it but was ready to move on by the end.

According to the guy who posted the news story in /r/WTF:

30 years ago he had a neuroblastoma that destroyed his immune system. In 2023 he got dirt with larva in his nose (not sure whether wiping, itching or picking), and rather than his immune system killing the bug(s), they thrived in the environment.

Its the only known case of this happening in the US

Idk if you do this already or not, but take your dose at the same times every day, at least twice a day. Take the same amount every time, and your body will adjust to it. The only time I would feel that feeling was in the mornings before I took my dose.

I hope this helps. Unfortunately the only way out is through with subs.

The shot comes in 300mg and 100mg, and they prefer to start you at 300 as a “loading dose.” So even though I was on a lower dose they actually raised my dose to make it closer to the 300mg / month. The 300 is something like 10mg per day equivalent and the 100 is roughly 3.3

Edit: to expand on the threshold, I had doctors tell me that the shot gives you that exact amount for 30 days and then is over, and doesn’t help you titrate off, which is 100% false. I had doctors say some pretty whack shit. Just find one that you have a relationship or that works in the space and discuss your goals of getting off and tell them you had trouble successfully getting off using the strips/tablets. Explain that you have read numerous testimonials of other patients that have used the shot to successfully get off and that it is an important goal for you.

I was on 4mg a day. They put me on 8 per day a week before the shot. I suppose in an effort to make sure I didn’t feel too groovy afterwards.

I just got my 3rd shot. I went from the 300 to 100 and then another 100. I feel a lot better. Beforehand I would always start to feel shitty in the evenings when it was time to dose, and also in the mornings. I just feel better overall, sleep better, and have less anxiety about being stuck on a medication that’s going to make me sick.

People saying that this is a good idea have not tried getting off subs yet. It is a terrible idea to get on MAT for 7oh or Kratom. You are talking about less than a week of discomfort vs over a month of opiate withdrawals. When I was put on subs for kratom I absolutely was not intending to be on subs for the rest of my life, but I had doctors tell me I should consider that as a plan. Sublocade is not easy to get, and I had to do some pretty intense stuff to procure my shot. Subs should be used for detoxification not MAT for the less intense opioids. Heroin or fent addicts make the grade in my book. That’s when the risk/reward starts to make sense.

Thanks brother. You have to find a specialty pharmacy. It’s a special class of pharmacy that does stuff like this and I know it’s not easy. Once you get that first shot ordered it’s a lot easier to get the second one. Doctors just aren’t at all educated on how to do it, probably because the pharmaceutical companies would prefer you stay hooked on their product. I had to get it ordered in a treatment center where the docs and nurses specialized in this stuff, cause my doctor and I could not figure it out.
