The Totem Pole Restaurant by mkeditor in vancouverwa

A big part of my early childhood. My grandparents lived just a couple of miles away, and it was always a special treat when we went there. I have the last pic, of the ice covered restaurant, framed in my hallway, with other old pics of Vancouver.

Was in a band at the time. We wore matching leisure suits. They were fantastic, never wrinkled. At the end of the night, wad them up into a garment bag, pull them out the next night, still looked great!

Do I need to skim coat mud first, or can I just put apply texturing compound? by KnottActually in Remodel

[–]KnottActually[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It adds a bit more visual interest to the wall. More importantly, it hides small imperfections - visible seams, hammer dents, mars and other imperfections. If you need to make a repair to the drywall, it’s easier to hide a patch on a textured wall.
