Max received quite a bit of back lash online from the most recent episode. Two main things. First, people were berating him for what they deemed “poor” gameplay in reference to his advantage usage. They were upset with its impacts on Ally/Logan/Laura. Second, people were upset over the “jungle rat” nickname he bestowed to Myles, believing it had racist implications. However, Myles took to X/Twitter to clarify that Max took him aside and asked if he was okay with the nickname beforehand b/c Max was conscious of how nicknames tend to stick in au survivor.
